  1. I'm not sure in the movie version that they were becoming more aware, and the robot rebellion was in no way limited to Yul's character. You had the Black Knight, the snake in the desert, and those Roman soldiers in Roman World killing everyone in sight. If I recall correctly, didn't they chalk it up to a virus that was spreading amongst the machines?

  2. Isn't this a prequel to Star Wars and explains how the Rebels got the plans used to destroy the Death Star in the original movie?

    ^^

Yes. This film will give fans the back story of how it all happened.

I've been guessing that the chick from Rogue One is one of the Bothans than Mon Mothma was referring to at the end of Episode IV. hm Or maybe she's not a Bothan at all, whatever race the Bothans are that she was referring to. (shrug)

I think that quote was from Return of the Jedi (not Episode IV) referring to the second Death Star, but I could be mistaken.

  3. So is that android an early C3PO and that's how they'll explain why he didn't say he knew Luke and Leia were related (one of the big plot holes of the first 2 triologies)?

It seems more like HK-47 from the Knights of the Old Republic game. Hunter assassin droid.

hope it's a homage to HK-47!! :) a sarcastic comment about meatbags would seal the deal.

    That would be epic.

Great book hard to find but conserved with cover clean married back cover and centerfold pieces added tear seal ? (shrug)

    I'm sorry :(

Hey thats great i was just saying. I would love to have that book and go fishing for G.A.tor. lol

This was a project I have been working on for almost 2 years. I found the various pieces to this book form different places all over the country and had Kenny breathe life in to it. Its complete, and putting it together was one of the most satisfying adventures I've had in this hobby. I'd be happy to show you the before and after pictures if you are interested - it was really amazing work done to this book.

Yes, before and after pics! Great adventure putting a book together like that - it is is an easter egg hunt. I sent the book below in for conservation; cleaning, some spine reinforcement and maybe cleaning staples (waiting for results - it's a cgc for slabbing now - will post updated image when in hand). Anyway, the Cap #27 in my sig line is being restored (married pieces etc.)

  7. I have to say that apart from 'Winter's Bone' I find Jennifer Lawrence to be only an adequate actress at best. She's "fine" to me, but nothing special. (But in a superhero film, fine is fine!)

    Dan

She's had too many great roles since Winter's Bone to just be called an adequate actress. Take Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy for instance. She even dominated nothing roles in House at the End of the Street, The Beaver and Serena. Even after Room, you can't say that for Brie Larson in 22 Jump Street. If anything these franchise paycheck roles are dimming her star as she shows more range than some of these productions actually deserve.

Her performance in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle were FAR above "adequate." Both movies had huge names in them, yet she outshined everyone else in both movies.

Her performance in American Hustle reminded me of the annoying role Sharon Stone played in Casino.

  8. Of course, there were many anti-Nazi and (to a lesser extent) anti-Japan covers/stories well before Pearl Harbor. Cap 1 has a cover date of March 1941 and shows Hitler contemplating an invasion of the United States.

True, but only National 18 depicts an invasion of Pearl Harbor before 12/7/41. However, I believe it was both the Japanese and Germans invading Pearl Harbor in the story if my recollection is correct.

Oh, yeah? Then what about this one? It shows the devastating Chicken Man invasion three full years before it took place! :sumo:

That is shocking. Just shocking. The Chicken Man commeth (thumbs u
