I wanted to make a post to ask questions and give ideas for the future of Pokemon Character Sets!

As of right now, we still don't have many sets, but the ones we do have are made up of just only the english versions of that characters cards. Will this stay this way? Im curious what the registry team is planning.

For example we could have a character's sets in all of its seperate languages? (ex. Japanese, Italian, German, etc). Or we could have just one big massive set and add on each language over time? Or eventually have both?

Hi Lyndsey! Earlier your example of Wigglytuff only shows the front of the card, but the error is on the back, could you post the back for us to see?

Also, there are only Topps Chrome Series 1 examples of this error graded by CGC. Is CGC sure this error also appears on Series 2 cards?

If you went to the CGC TCG website you would find the population report tool. It went live in April 2022

The first batch of these was done over the last couple of weeks using cards submitted by our largest dealers who understood that they were partaking in the final round of testing and would provide their feedback on the holder. We are happy to announce that it went well, and we are once again accepting these cards for grading!

We apologize for the delay. It took far longer than expected, but we hope everyone will be happy with the final result.

Just went to check and the submission form and it still isn't  showing the Pikachu and Charizard metal cards, but the Arceus ones do show up. Could just be a timing issue and they will appear soon but wanted to let you know.

I think they are around 2oz.

I usually say 4oz for my bubble mailers and all when selling just 1 cgc slab.

I mean.... to be fair, its been 7 months since I created this topic and these cards are still not getting graded. 

The announcement CGC made telling people they were pausing grading them was poorly dispersed, and the ability to submit them on the submission form has never been removed or even given a warning to tell the consumer that the grading for these cards are paused, and all cards submitted with them will also be on pause.

It's been over a year since these cards were released and first started getting graded, and nearing a year since the pause. I would say there has been "some slack."

You always put the value of the card as is, in its raw condition. 

Unfortunately, these all look like fake cards.

Hey Lyndsey, could you check something for me?

Is this 2nd Spectra card entry supposed to be an error variant of the normal Spectra version? So it has like the correct rainbow holo but no pattern/texture? Or is it some kind of duplicate registry entry thing again? 

For the topps chrome special cards I only know about the normal 3 (Spectra, Sparkle, Tekno) as shown on this card from Topps.

I would like to request a set for the early Japenese Promo cards! Im not exactly sure what to suggest, I only really know about the few I have myself, but cards like Illustrator Contest Cards,  CD Promos, Vending Series Cards, etc from 1997-1999 or so.

They are sorted in the pop reports so could be as simple as making them into sets that match how they are grouped together there.

Hello CGC Registry Team!

I have suggested this card be added to the Sword & Shield Black Star Promos set before, and other new releases have gotten added but this card still hasn't been.

The "Early Release" of this card is included, but its now been graded normally for almost 3 months and still has not been added to the set.

Can we get some help? Thanks 😊👍
