NIGHTMARE 13........................................................1.5................................................C/OW.....................................................$ 45 ......Matt Baker cover....Tape at staples that are holding the cover on.... barely. I would pay dearly for a Fine condition copy of this. This one is rough, what they used to call a research copy.
Take it.

I'm with you on liking this one. VERY much a departure for ACG. They stayed away from real horror and most of their covers look like post-code Atlas. I have 3 copies of this one, and keep upgrading a little with each one. Tough to find above fine in my experience.
Such a great cover. Underrated book big time!

Hard to beat when you have a Jack Katz cover and I believe that's Nick Cardys work on the dancer story.
I think so. You've also got on the cover a pink skull with a snake coming out if it and I believe the monster might be vomiting. So,... Yeah. It's a good one.

To celebrate the 100th birthday of Jack Kiby I wanted to share some pictures of the first comic I remember reading. It was early FF 1-6 in a little digest size reprint. Perhaps some of you remember this format? Anyway, a young child stared in hypnotic fascination at these drawings that looked alive and I've never been the same since. It pushed me on my own artistic journey I have taken every day of my life.
Thanks Jack! You were the King of Comics and you gave the world so much.
Here are some of my favorite images:
