  3. -I have been working on my all ages graphic novel series, Korgi, over the last 11 years. It is published by IDW / Top Shelf. The story is uniquely told in a silent style where pictures tell most of the story alone without using words. -The artwork created is in black and white and uses a detailed pen and ink style that draws inspiration from the golden age of illustration a century ago. -Offered here is a collection of short stories that we published over the years for Free Comic Book Day plus a new story with two different covers. -I have included pictures of both covers and two interior page samples. -Each copy will be signed neatly on the bottom of the first story page. Special requests and remarks are welcomed as well. Set of 2 Korgi Short Tails comics. Identical interiors with different covers. I have 15 sets of these available. $15 shipped (extra set is $10)

  5. Forbidden Worlds 24 is the new Beyond 25. An underated book with a killer precode horror love story!
  6. Classic Precode Teeth on this cover. ? Happy halloween gents!
  7. Just read this thread to see how you managed. So sorry Rick. Hope you and the family get through this quickly and safely. Hang in there buddy!
  8. I've seen those original NC Wyeths at the Brandywine as well. Amazing sight in real life. I recall the reproduction size in the printed novels for Treasure Island was around 3%.
  9. I love these smaller shows focusing on just paper works. Would love to attend some day. Thanks for the great report!
  10. That's a Hat Trick of Horror, fifties. Well done!
  11. Awesome you were able to get it down to 50 books. Great way to prune the collection. I usually don't go for books signed on the cover but I really like your ASM 44. That silver pen really makes it pop. And I agree Lizard is one of the best..after his buddy Stegron that is. ? Good luck on your Suspense 3 quest!
  12. Beauty book Jayman. Love the colors on this one. Awesome background pattern, title color scheme, and the face on that snake charmer...just Ajax perfection.
  13. Congrats. Great book. I always saw this cover as a metaphor for precode horror comic collecting. Look at that poor dude getting sucked into this strange corner of our hobby. Enjoy those books fellow Precoders and keep gnashing your teeth while reading those stories.
  14. @fett Such a great story! Total Kirby Precode Classic. IMO it really hangs with the best interior stories of this era. Just so friggin weird. Look at that last page!
  15. Tales of Horror 8 is a huge book. Purple Claw is so unloved but there's some fun stuff going on in there. Purple Claw 2 has a Spider Lady story that's kind of neat. Actually @Jayman is PC 2 on your spider web list?
  16. The Black Magic books are suuuper underrated IMO. Considering they are loaded with Kirby art and they feature such offbeat stories. I think they really stand out from other typical horror stuff from this era.
  17. Not a recent purchase but a Prize favorite from the @dannyboy dad collection! I think it's one of the best of the BM run. (Is that a Baxter Building prototype in the background? ? (Yikes! This is a Gold zone. Can I get away with saying such a thing here? The Gold zone is for loading and unloading only....? Ok now I'm I the eighties..double yikes).
