  1. I have always liked this issue. Yours is a Great looking copy. A great action filled cover, nice Japanese Flag placement.
  2. Nice group. Hard pressed to find a nicer 65 or 72.
  3. Beautiful books, 30 is such a wild cover.
  4. This photo wins the entire CGC forum. Incredible pic... I noticed how they alternated from the white title to the yellow title every month, I knew they did obviously but just didn't know there was a pattern to it. 3 red titles... Timely alternated from the white title to the yellow title every month on the Captain America title too! Now Straw Man needs to post a pic of the Captain America run so we can see the alternating white and yellow titles... I suppose I could just go and look at my Gerbers, but it's not as interesting as a group shot. I'll second that request, that would be an equally as awesome picture as the one posted here of the MM's
  5. Beautiful. Super nice colors, really cool cover
  6. Very pretty book Jack. One of my favourite GGA covers of all time. I like the Planet, Wings and the Rangers posted this weekend. Keep the FH issues coming. (thumbs u
  7. Nice copies, thank you both for sharing the pics of the Fight 32.
  8. A friend of mine on the boards is a very talented artist. I spoke with him a while back about two Fiction House issues that seem to be difficult for me to purchase/locate. One was Fight 32. He agreed to make this art work of the cover to enjoy until I can locate a true copy of 32, but after looking at this art in hand I know I will enjoy it just as much as a true copy of Fight 32. It is a great piece to see and hold so I thought I would share it here for other FH lovers to enjoy also. Ps if you have a copy of fight 32, post it also
  9. Black covers are hard to find this nice. This copy looks like a real winner. (thumbs u
  10. I've always liked the cover of 10. The electric shock eyes on the green guys is great. Dan Zolnerowich is great.
  11. I am late to this thread, good read so far. As far as Planet 1, outside if a truely sun faded cover, all the Planet 1's I have ever seen were very close color wise. There seems to be certain issues that are more prone to color changes and other issues like #1 that has pretty consistent coloring. As someone states earlier in the thread , the only true color evaluation can be made when books are aide by side. Consider the three books below, this is the exact same book with scans from 3 previous owners
  12. I didn't think you would have gone after the 8 since you already had a 7.5. I was the underbidder on both the 16 and the 8 .
  13. More likely it's from another issue and I just lost track of which one as it was a couple of years back. Thought I saw a wormhole at the bottom of the pages which is why I may have drawn the wrong conclusion. Darn - now I'll have to figure out which issue those are from! Nice art isn't it? I really do like the art, the covers of the Planets are excellent. I seem to like the early issues into the 'teens and early 20's the best though. I love 14, and I am drawn to the black covers like 22 and 25. For reading I have started to pick up the Planet Comics collected works I have book 1 and 2 now. http://www.amazon.ca/Planet-Comics-Fiction-House-Collected/dp/1848634625 I have 1 and 2 also and pre-ordered #3 (thumbs u Fun to read so far . I am very excited for Volume 4 (Planet 13,14,15,16) Is volume #3 due out soon Kelly? Do you know? I get mine at cheapgraphicnovels.com and they say release date for Volume 3 is February 18.

  15. That's cool cover! Nice pick up Karl Thanks Vern! 14's are scarce, just as scarce as 15's You outbid me on this one, super looking book. (thumbs u My max bid was only a couple of bucks more than for what the auction went for. The book presents nice but it has some issues. There is some bug chew in the interior pages. Overall I am happy to get it. Low grade book but the front presents very nicely. Let me know if you want to see. I can do a back scan and some interior pics. I remember it looked like there was a piece out of the back cover top of spine and read about the chews. It would be great to see a few interior page scans.

  17. Beautiful book, I think highest graded.
