  1. Super nice book. The cover for 30 has so much going on.
  2. $2,950 Wow, glad I was able to grab the one recently sold at HA. It must have been a long period of extended bidding I am thinking. Actually no. The bidding exploded after I put in my slightly more modest bid - and it got to the closing amount before any extended bidding. I get the impression that this book may be one of those things that I regret not picking up years ago. Interesting outcome on that book. I know of at least a half dozen folks here on the boards who are chasing this run with some regularity/focus. I am sure there will be more who are not forum members. I love this run and it will be interesting to see if the price growth is something that will sustain itself over the upcoming years, or whether it will slow down after collectors start filling their vacancies in their runs. Some of the prices on the lower grade issues seem to have gotten a bit softer over the last year in my opinion. EDIT - at least in the middle and later issues. Earlier examples seem to have risen significantly in value in all grades. I was rooting for Andy to win the CC auction copy because he only needs a couple to complete the run. Me? These days I'm just a tourist. I think #14 will probably hold it's value, because there are more collectors than copies at any given time. I also have a sneaky, contrary thought that maybe neither book is quite as scarce as its legend says. Or put it another way - how scarce are #14 and #15 relative to #2, #5, #6, #10, #13, #17, #18? This is always subjective, but I've seen more #15's than #13's - and I've now owned, and sold, four or five low grade #14's. 13 is tough...... and one of my favorite of all the Planets. I've only owned one in my life and sold it to an esteemed Boardie....... I do miss it sometimes, but I know it has a good home, which IS important to me....... GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) ..... not to digress, but here's my newest FH..... and an Okajima at that...... Nice book. Okajima is a pedigree I have not owned, but I want one
  3. Super nice group. I really like the Fight 21. Early Fight and Rangers are special
  4. I've been outbid on this book for a long time now.... easily my favorite Sheena cover. I was underbidder on a 7.5® not long ago that I might have gone higher on, but it was a Heritage Sunday Auction and was closing around midnight my time..... too much OT that week to stay up. I wish they'd start with comics rather than art...... at least every other week. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) I had an early bid on the 7.5r you mentioned, but was outbid in the live part by quite a bit. I sold a cgc 7.5 universal with an off cut cover about 5 years ago and really missed it since. I have been unlucky/outbid on this one for a while also. Big ape on cover is very cool.
  5. My newest Zolnerowich cover. Rockford a plus for me on this one
  6. Beautiful book. One of my favorite covers from Cindy.
  7. Won on Heritage, it caught my eye for the colors and it is on my shortlist of cool Fight covers. Although hard to imagine, but colors are even better in hand.
  8. Just simply a beautiful and tough to locate book
  9. Beautiful copy. Early jungles are becoming more and more a favorite of mine.
  10. Great Zolnerowich cover. Great colors too.
