I would make two separate threads, bronze and silver. I don't check mixed very often, either. I would consider selling as lots. I hate paying $7 shipping for a $9 comic. Definitely include bulk shipping rates! You want buyers claiming stacks of books. I usually will work with people on shipping.

Oooh! Please sell them here! Cheapie bronze X-Men sound delicious right about now.

Strange Tales Collecting Thread !

That’s a whole slabful of funny book you got there. -
If it makes you feel any better, I consider raw, reading copies of Kirby Fantastic Fours to be the most entertaining (and thus, intrinsically valuable) comic books in all existence.

Already had it: but if I didn’t know it existed, you’d have converted me. Does that count?

I am not an AE guy, but, seeing as it reprints my favorite comic, I had to get this. I have spent hours staring at those pages. Some lucky SOB on CAF owns all the splash pages to this one. Lord.

I get you. I’ve referred to it as a Space Studebaker.

…it’s not all reprints.

Journey Into Mystery Appreciation Thread

Yes he was. In my view, the single most impactful creator ever to work in the medium. His contributions are without equal. -

So cool. I do admire a complete run, all in the same condition. It just reeks of a discipline I will never have.

Great book! Interesting similarity between Feldstein’s attacking ship there and Wood’s mother ship here.

You’re both going to love it! You’d love it more if you were 10, of course. My two best friends and I each bought a copy of the Giant-Size book. I literally read mine to pieces, then stole Andy’s. I read that copy to shreds, then bought Doug’s for a quarter (Doug guarded his comics better). Then I learned how to enjoy a comic book without destroying it.

I liked his FF run so much that I found a way to forgive him for replacing The Thing with She-Hulk. That said, I find it better to judge the art, not the artist.

Amazing Spider-Man Collecting Thread!
KirbyJack replied to Point Five's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
GCD has it going like this for the first 11 appearances. Release date for AF 15: 8-‘62 ASM 1: 12-‘62 ASM 2: 2-‘63 ASM 3: 4-‘63 ASM 4 and Strange Tales annual 2: 6-11 ‘63 Fantastic Four annual 1: 7-2 ‘63 ASM 5: 7-9 ‘63 ASM 6: 8-8 ‘63 ASM 7 and Strange Tales 115: 9-10 ‘63 Books appeared on newsstands inconsistently; IE, not every place got their ASM 4 on the same day. I think it’s going to stay debatable.
