Look what I got in the mail today

I remember wanting this cover as a little kid. Still one of my top 5 covers of any comic.

Here's some junk from my latest submission to CGC:

 

 

 

Cerebus #2 @ 9.2 -- Tied at the top of the census (Universal)!

 

 

And some really nice signed books that I wanted to slab even though they aren't SS.

 

 

And for my one major upset in the submission.. this 9.0. I thought it was a 9.4 at least or I wouldn't have sent it in. Have to call for graders notes on this one.. :shrug:

Ill take scans in a week or 2 when I get the book in hand.. It is a raw 8.5/9.0 that I plan on having pressed in time for Heroes this summer!!

I think I have a copy...but its back in arizona though. Next time i go out there if its a 4th print you can have it bud.

alright bone lovers..

 

i am missing the 4th printing of #1 and the 7th printing of #1..

 

correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm missing 'Bone' written in yellow (4th printing) and in a kind of lime-green/puke-green color (7th printing)...can anyone confirm these as the correct colors (chris, i'm lookin' at you)..

 

anyone got either of these for me? condition isn't super important (6.0+ is all i need)..

 

 

The 7th print is a very deep dark green. I have a qualified, signed, CGC 9.2

Here's the last of my CGC examples for the first ten. I'll have a couple of #10s in my next submission so I'll soon have a complete set (they're both 9.4s, I think). #8 is in my top five for favorite covers. I would have loved to have seen the OA at that exhibit in Ohio.

Well warn and water damaged for over $300!

I love how the newest auction describes the comic as having "tiny moisture spots".

 

That means its only worth $350

Lets hope not. I had the seller send me some close up photos of the book. This copy has seen more than a few reads and definitively has some water damage
