  5. I will miss Stan very much part of my life for over 60 years.... I was lucky enough see him a few times at the NYCC and had a picture taken, as we walked in my friend and I told him how great it was to see him. I started to shake his hand, he did not let it go because they were taking out picture right then... yup for 15 to 20 seconds he held on tight, then we said our goodbyes and got our photo that will live in memory forever
  6. Thanks in advance I have a friend with a 3.0 Brave and Bold 28 I think he should auction on the Heritage site.
  7. This is an obvious how does it work, I know a lot of members use this site to sell major cgc books. Just one question is there a fee to HA up front to post the book in a scheduled auction or do you put the books up and ai know that if they sell there is a percent that HA charges the buyer? Thanks in Advance trying to help a friend sell some books.
  8. I could not go have there have been any threads
  9. Looks high grade to me white pages... not sure between 9.0 and who knows thanks in advance On the back looks like a slight crease
  10. I'm not asking for a grade for a specific book, but instead what qualifies for grading. A friend of mine has a Showcase 22... a seller added a perfect reproduction of the cover including the inside of the cover. It has been attached to a "coverless" Showcase 22. The inside of the book is perfect is it an incomplete or is it restored? Rather then post in General this should be the right place Thanks in advance for your feedback
  11. I had a GS X-men done perfectly.... I was (joking) about the grader opening the book wide to check the pages I'm sure they grade these all the time (recently I saw a 9.8 graded square bound) anyway I have a choice of two really great pressers. The cover looks like it came out of a time machine from the past. I'm happy either way.
  12. Please help me with this one I bought it yesterday without opening, when I did I found that it appears never to have been read the front cover was extremely tight for a square bound book. the Spine is is perfect unlike many I have seen. The only issue is the back, on the very bottom perhaps a press and a clean would clear it up. The Presser would not even need to open up the book and a grader would be petrified since the pages have never seen the light of day..... what do you think? thanks in advance Paul "Long Time Collector since '56"
  13. Sorry posted in the wrong place..... but what happened
