  1. This eBay seller has some Turner SS for a steal! FATHOM #0 CGC SS 9.8 SIGNED BY MICHAEL TURNER WIZARD WORLD LA P CGC SS 9.8 SIGNED BY MICHAEL TURNER FATHOM #0 CGC SS 9.8 SIGNED BY MICHAEL TURNER
  2. Ditto, plenty of hardworking selfless individuals at NYCC. Mike was definitely rushing around helping out; run and tell dat homeboi Danny barely had a moment to chat and everyone else associated with CGC were giving it their 100% Thanks for making this hobby possible folks (thumbs u
  3. Always a pleasure buddy, sorry I couldn't stop and chat a little longer. These weekends seem to leave me with no time for the simpler things. Hope you managed to get everything you were after
  4. So as you folks may or may not have known, the Walking Dead cast was in attendance at NYCC. They did a panel on Sunday followed by a Press conference and then they scrammed. It was not possible to get at them and acquire those much sought after siggy's. Well, Carlos (GothamCentral) and I had given up at that point on getting any Walking Dead merch signed by these folks. After the show had ended we headed over to the Image booth to purchase some last minute swag. As we're purchasing some hardcovers we notice Robert Kirkman talking to some folks in suits, one thing lead to another and well: It's not the entire cast but hell, i'm more then thrilled to have gotten even this much Jon Bernthal - "Shane" Laurie Holden - "Andrea" Steven Yeun - "Glenn" Norman Reedus - "Daryl" Frank Darabont - "Director" Robert Kirkman - "The MAN"
  5. Seriously though, you have to alter your perspective slightly to understand how your opinion may not be entirely justified. If an artist takes a sketch list, that means every single person on that list made it to the table before you did. Imagine them standing in front of you. They were there first, some camped out outside before the doors opened. If all those people on the sketch list were standing there waiting in line in front of you would you jump the line and get your books signed? Of course not. When an artist makes an appearance he has to carefully balance the demands of his public. Some want sketches, some want photos, some want sigs. It's impossible to make everyone happy, all you can ask is that the creator make a concerted effort to try. If you come up to an artist's table and he's sketching and he has a sign stating that he's sketching now, or a time when his next signing will be, and there is no one standing there waiting for a signature, that doesn't mean he's not busy, all that means is that everyone else took the time to read the signs and respect what the creator has organized as a means to make as many people as happy as possible. Sometimes imagining what things are like on the other side of the table can help a lot. 1+ Well said
  6. Glad someone else decided to get one of these done (thumbs u Great milestone book
  7. I didn't even notice that, it should read 8-21 as the sketch was done at Wizard World Chicago... that or I'm a time traveler... you decide
  8. Maybe you're seeing something i'm not.. Sandman #1? My bad. It was #13, so I guess I shouldn't single that one out. Either which way, Neil's signature on ANY of those books would certainly pretty them up
  9. Maybe you're seeing something i'm not.. Sandman #1? Regardless of the #'s those are some gorgeous books. I am definitely jealous of that haul
  10. Pardon my ignorance, but what does the "bowling green" note refer too? Love the "more deadly than the atom bomb"

  13. It's a slow day in the office so I thought I'd post this here: I was really happy that Stan obliged me and did the Spidey "thwip!" Also, big Kudos to Chandler, Sharon & Jamie for managing to get the photo signed
  14. Breathtaking now that it's said and done, and it couldn't have gone to a better home.
  15. Thanks! one day I may consider, the notion, of possibly, maybe, cracking the slab to add Romita and Daniel Way. Assuming I can get both under one roof at one time
  16. Awesome Caps Raph! Love the Guice siggy, just when you think those books couldn't be more epic
  17. Two more that I missed, including my FIRST 9.9 signed by: Joshua Ortega & Liam Sharp signed by: Len Wein, Herb Trimpe, Jason Aaron, Marko Djurdjevic, Tommy Lee Edwards & Adam Kubert
  18. Steve Downes was at the Toronto Fan Expo last year. To my knowledge myself and Carlos (GOTHAMCENTRAL) were the only ones who obtained SS signatures from him. The Uncanny X-Men #500 has #1's written on it because when Matt Fraction first signed it he asked me if he could write a "1" as he likes to do that on books he is signing for the first time. Ed Brubaker noticed the "#1" and followed suit and wrote "Number 1". Finally I asked Terry Dodson if he had ever signed the issue, he said no and drew the "1" on it.
