  1. It's so ironic that you post that book, i was JUST reading a copy i found online. It's a small small world indeed. Great book with a beautifully placed sig to boot! "Prez: Joe Simon" (thumbs u

Moving on.. as per the suggestion of Raph i'll toss a couple slabs into the thread: Al "Spawn" Simmons, Todd McFarlane & Dave Sim with sketch and 'best wishes' remark KUDOS to Peter Dixon (Paradise Comics) for helping me make this happen Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, Paul Blake, David Alan Barclay, Jeremy Bulloch & Walt Simonson
  4. If it wasn't for him,we wouldn't have The Walking Dead Someone needs to get him to sign WD #1 I think the difference is Marvel Zombies #1 is a fairly easily replaced book if you ever decided that George Romero didn't belong on it. WD #1 on the other hand, not so much...

  6. To be fair to Dave, he was trying his best to stay off the artwork and if I remember correctly it was in a rather small windowed bag so he didn't have much space to work with... just saying... Gotta love that 'Zombie' Lori sketch on the Walking Dead tho... why someone would have asked Charlie to draw that is beyond me
  7. I WANT ONE!!!! I don't know if its cool for Quesada to sign it though, he signs right through his art, it seems like his signature always lands right smack inn the middle of it all.... I think this is good for a Trimpe-Wein combo on upper Right-Left corner of the book, I have always like that cover a'la art noveau. I actually think Joe Q did a pretty good job with his signature placement on that book. I definitely agree that he doesn't always aim before he shoots but in this case I don't really see where else he could of thrown that wacky 'Q' of his without landing on the art. Last time I got Joe Q to sign some books I made sure that my windowed bags had the holes cut exactly where I wanted him to sign.

  14. Kudos indeed, that's a tall order being patient with Raph
  15. Nice sig placement by Wrightson, although I've never seen his signature look like that before. Any idea why he signed this one differently? I asked him to sign like that as I wanted an old school look. Similar to the way he signed his horror covers back in the 70’s. Plus, his normal sig can be large and wouldn’t have looked good on this book. Well played! It looks fantastic; I had to give the book a double-take because I'm so use to seeing Bernie's big swirling signature that I completely missed this one.
  16. ... i've seen them grade higher Nice book, Liefeld did some quality work on that cover. (thumbs u
