With that creasing along the bottom and other small flaws I am very surprised this was over 6.0 NICE GRADE!!

That looks like an 8.5 but presents nicer. That white spine hides some of the flaws. Probably would press to a 9.0/9.2. That's a PRETTY BOOK!!

It's hard to see some of these flaws on a white cover. Still I would have thought this was a 6.5/7.0 IMHO...

This book is not better than a 4.5 IMHO.... I was fortunate to grow up in Grand Rapids, MI and I believe we were one of the four test markets for this .30 Variant price increase. So all the Marvel titles I was buying at the time I acquired these! This is back when I would ride my Shwinn bike down to the pharmacy each Thursday to pick up the new issues for that week. I was ticked the price was going up again but had no idea what I was actually getting until later in life. While it is cool to own they are not all that rare. Just wish I had known to keep my books in pristine condition back when I was 14-15 years old.

This was on a Whatnot Stream last night. They said it is clearly is a Golden Record reprint but they have never seen the Number 1 with the 6664 under it. I have scoured the internet and can't find another one like it. Has anyone seen this or have an explanation for it? They said the price was colored in purple.

This one is hard for me to let go. If you look at the front cover only, you would think this book is 8.5/9.0!! If not for that stain on the back cover. I can tell you the stain is on the cover only, it did not seep into the next page at all. This is probably the nicest 4.5 you will ever find. I looked up some 4.5's and this book looks far superior to any I was able to find. This is great one to own and be proud of, or to display. PRICE IS $2,900. I'll take it or PM me.
