  1. Maybe if someone hadn't played such a terrible joke on me... I would just like to make it clear for the record, that there was no joke playing from me... and pg 19 from issue 2 is a beaut!!!
  2. The #3's from my LCS were all beat to , but the copies I got from my online service were pristine!
  3. TJ... Gav... If I didn't know any better, I would think you two had a crush on each other!
  4. How many prints did it have? I have a 28th printing - and I think there are even later ones than that. That is awesome. It's really cool that there would be that much demand for a book. they pretty much had enough printings of jhm to stock one printing each in every hot topic store in the country. j
  5. Some sig series books that came back this week. Old Marvel Joe's were from my childhood collection
  6. How many prints did it have? I have a 28th printing - and I think there are even later ones than that. That is awesome. It's really cool that there would be that much demand for a book.
  7. Here's some more overdue kudos! I bought these a number of months back and am just now getting around to posting kudos... sorry guys! Huge thanks to FFComics for a Claremont/Jim Lee signed UXM and a Robert Atkins signed GI Joe! You are a gentelmen and a pleasure to do business with! Big thanks to Mr. Dan Par2ch for this gorgeous Zeck & Beatty Sig and Sketch, GI Joe 21 Renegar! And I think I said something about this one when I bought it last year, but thanks again to Steve EvilAsh for this awesome GI Joe Sketch Variant signed by Atkins and Del'Otto
  8. Here are my first ever OA purchases. I'm a huge GI Joe fan and couldn't pass up the opportunity to pick these up from Mr. Robert Atkins. I've actually had these for a bit, but was holding off on posting them because Mr. Atkins allowed me to purchase these and have them in hand before the issue was published. Very cool guy to work with. GI Joe Issue 3 pg 4 GI Joe Issue 3 pg 21 GI Joe issue 5 pg 15 GI Joe Issue 5 pg 20 (Nothing cooler than a Ninja/commando on a jetski!)
  9. Please forgive my long post... it's been a long time coming! All this praise for Danny... I guess I should add to it. All books below are presented to you thanks to the GREAT work of a super CGC SS witness... Danny aka MutantKeys. While they aren't all 9.8s, the ones that aren't are childhood books of mine that meant a great deal to me and Danny took EXCELLENT care of them! (worship) Chew sketchbook signed by Layman and Guillory(not slabbed, but wanted to show off anyways) to go with my 9.8 slabbed version signed by both with a sketch! All signed by Larry Hama Not the best grade, but a must have book for a Joe Collector (and the only SS copy) GI Joe #0 And then there are the new GI Joe Origins books #1 a #1 b #1 variant #2 cover a #2 cover b #2 variant #3 And what's that? OH!!!! That's right... it's the Larry Hama sketch on my old copy of GI Joe 21 because again Danny MutantKeys ROCKS!!! And more thanks to Danny for getting my two GI Joe Cobra variant books signed by Howard Chaykin And here's a great purchase from the great Mr. JonJesper from the past VCC. GI Joe #0 signed and sketched by Mike Zeck
  10. He's a scrawny little punk who simply has awful parents. When I was 16 I got mixed up with some real nutjobs. The kind of guys that were psycho. That would flip their cars racing, that would buy blowguns and do drive byes on people carrying groceries and the like. Total pyschos that all ended up in jail or dead. Connor is nothing like those guys. They were truly f-ed up. Connor is just a spoiled, little turd and eventually he's going to swallow some of his own teeth when somebody caves his face in. Not a pleasant thought but that's what happens to punks. I have to agree. I don't like how Conner behaved here at all, but I wouldn't say psychopathic. Just a child of the times and age. Spoiled and probably never told no or ever disciplined. Good ridance to bad rubbish, I say.
  11. Wow! There are a ton of great sellers and buyers here. FFComics is way way overdue on some kudos for some excellent SS slabs (UXM and GI Joe) as well as a great Chew 9.8. Many thanks! And I have to thank everyone who bought from my recent sales thread and has made payments. I hope they all enjoy their books when they get them. Massive kudos on that thread go out to SPDREYCER Rich_Henn lookwhoitis Snake Eyes (big huge ups!) mschmidt mazman77 str8rcn janders5k xEVOLUTION Lebowski comix4fun jpolz ThunderGod99 Dawgwindu joecgcmaniac abner419 JerryZ BillS25 Again... I can't say it enough... THANK YOU for being great buyers and purchasing my junk. I promise you the money went to a great cause! And most of all the highest accolades and kudos for jonjesper first for an awesome GI Joe SS book with a sketch by Mike Zeck I picked up at the VCC, but mostly for not only making a purchase in my sales thread to raise money to pay for my dogs chemo treatments, but posting some of his own items and donating the funds to help me be able to put towards paying off those vet bills. Jon, from the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you enough. (worship)

  15. Question for the group, Whats the best way to package a shortbox of comics for shipping?
  16. Junk - put me down for a copy. Anyway to get an autograph on it?
  17. Goes without saying....That book is required reading....Max Brooks is the man It was this book and World War Z that sparked my interest enough to pick up WD! And Brooks is really funny guy too. When he was in town for a con last year, I got my set of these books signed and a set signed for a buddy. When Brooks asked me who the first set was too, I said "Joseph", so he signed it something like "Joseph, don't get bit, Max Brooks." When he asked me who to make the other set out to, me, not thinking said, "to me". He asked my name and then signed them "Always keep an eye out for the Zombies, to me (Jason), Max Brooks" Needless to say, these occupy a reserved space on my bookshelf (thumbs u
