I didn't realized how many of my CGC SS are one-of-a-kind, but that's probably because I only really get these for me. I have both copies of this in the census as well as both copies of #2 These by JRJR And I believe the only 10.0 that is double signed of this (because EvilAsh is the bee's knees) This little diddy And one that for some reason isn't in the census(?) and I don't have a picture of it right now, but MutantKeys got it signed for me at NYCC by Herb Trimpe GI Joe America's Elite 36 variant autographed by Herb Trimpe

I have to agree with JiveTurkey. Prices are seriously depressed by volumes right now. I'm not going to complain though, because those low prices are allowing me access to books I couldn't really begin to touch before.

All four signed by Mr. John Romita, Jr. I have no clue how the PWZs actually came back as a 9.6. I got these books when I was 10. Issue 5 was my very first non-GI Joe book, and read MANY times. And got this book in this week via EvilAsh. He is the man!! My very first time owning a 10.

I cannot say enough good things about these two guys!! Thanks to MutantKeys for getting sigs for some of my favorite books (pics to come tonight) and for dealing with me being such a pain about it! EvilAsh = "The Poo" as in bad ! I bought my first book off of the boards from him and am blown away. Bought his GI Joe #1 CGC SS 10 signed by Dell'Otto... and he sneaks me a second sig on the book from Atkins. I've been having a cruddy week, and Steve just made it all better. You guys ROCK!

Just finished my Marvel run with a #9 I picked up at WWTX. I agree that I don't think people realize just how popular Joe is.

Just a question for the signature folks, Why do most people get CGC SS books? I'm getting a number done at WWTX and I'm wondering if I am odd getting them done and planning to keep them for myself. It seems like so many people get them done just to sell them. Am I the odd one here?

This is the same thing I do with WD. I purchase all of the single issues and put away (for the collection) , but wait and buy the HC Trades to read. Very fullfilling to read in that manner. But as long as it takes for single issues to come out for WD (at least in the past ) it can take a long time to get caught up with the HC trades.
