I don't think the grade is going up with a reattached cover and it wouldn't be cheap to do, so unless you're allergic to the :censored: slab I wouldn't.

Edit: the auto censored thing is funny. I guess I should have said "non-CGC"

Yeah it may even go down, i think its graded correctly- but just non cgc case is ugly and it could defintely look better after a clean and press

The announcement also allowed for the possibility of more books, since no one can be certain that there are not undiscovered swapped books out there:

"If you have any questions, or if you believe you have a tampered book that is not on our list, please reach out to us at ReportFraud@CollectiblesGroup.com."

I suspect that the list will be "fluid" in both directions. CGC did not say it was an exhaustive list.

How are they sure it’s just one person and just this one list? I would reckon there are more bad apples than just 1.

CGC needs to revamp the reholdering process to include grading otherwise it sits uneasy with me.

Looks like a 4.5, could improve with C/P. BUT...what's going on with the lower left where the interior staples have made impressions through the front cover...almost looks like somebody has colored in the staple marks with black marker?

Thanks all! Going to get it cleaned and pressed, it's not marker i checked with the blacklight on the book, I think it is a production issue with some of these books as this one is  jutting out which I don't see often, but is part of the cover.. kinda looks rusted inside
