  2. Trying this again, hopefully with better results this time. Up for sale are the superhero and Star Wars celebrity SS books appearing below. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is $13 for any number of books. Insurance up to $50 is included; additional insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 7 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears.
  3. Assuming he shows up in Dallas, this will be his second ever convention appearance.
  4. I'm wondering what my daughter will think. She's 25 now, but she watched these movies plenty of times when she was little.
  5. I'm almost embarrassed to say that even though I screened several copies for the signing, I never noticed the back cover until I was scanning the slabbed copy.
  6. $399 is for just the sig. CGC and the cost of the comic to be signed is on top of that.
  7. Fresh from CGC. Kudos to @Kevlar for handling these. I included the back cover of the Wonder Woman Gratis-Comic because I think it's pretty cool as well, even if it's not signed.
  8. By your comment that "it's difficult to prepare a windowed bag," I'm guessing you're looking for specific sig placement and not a generic window bag, which of course can be done without a comic for reference. In the case of a SS book, if I have a raw copy of the same comic, I use that copy to prepare the window bag. Otherwise, I place an empty bag on top of the slab and position to where it would be if the comic were in it, and mark where I want to make the cut out. From there it's just like preparing any other window bag. I use masking tape, primarily because a marker can smear even after it's dried. I learned that the hard way with some sketches I got on comics in window bags that a marker was used for cut out. Probably not as big an issue when you're just getting a sig, because the bag won't be handled nearly as much, but no reason to take that chance. Just be sure not to cut into the masking tape, because otherwise the adhesive from the tape can get on the comic.
  9. While an 8.0 by Romita Sr. is going to fetch a good price, I think it would sell for more if it were a 9.8.
  10. A while back when DC did not have any blank covers and the Marvel blanks were not very good for colors, there was a boardie who would add a completely blank covers to books, and any sketches on them submitted for SS would get an "NG" (no grade) designation. Personally, I think all sketch covers should be encapsulated this way, or at the very least be an option.
  11. You just have to do it like this: Dick Van Dyke It is believed to be profanity by the filter.
  12. You would have to find someone with one to sell. John Romita Sr. quit doing sketch covers a few years ago, and even then they were pretty tough to get done.
