  3. Matt Smith cancels and is replaced by David Tennant. Since my daughter was disappointed when Tennant cancelled at Chicago, I'm OK with this late switch.
  4. I'm sure he will be signing all the autographs he possibly can during the scheduled times, but he's lost me as a buyer at that price, even if this is his last public signing. He's basically double what he was a year ago, and that's more than I'm willing to pay.
  5. First walkthrough I've ever done. For magazines it's really not that much more than express.
  6. @Kevin Boyd, is CGC going to be at Fan Days? I don't see it on the schedule right now.
  7. For as rocky a start as the con got off to for my daughter and me (first David Tennant, who was the main attraction for my daughter, canceling even before we left, and then her bag didn't make it to Chicago until Saturday morning from our Friday evening flight), we had a really great time. I have to commend Wizard on the way they handled the David Tennant situation, by not only giving refunds to anyone who had purchased a David Tennant VIP, autograph or photo op, but by giving a weekend pass to any other Wizard show in 2017 (hoping that they can land David Tennant for Austin ), and VIP holders still received their entire package other than the David Tennant autograph and photo op (there was quite a bit of Doctor Who merchandise), including a VIP admission to WW Chicago and all the perks that come with being a VIP. Unlike most boardies, we were there mainly for the "experience," and other than celebs routinely being late to Q&A's and signings, the experience was great for us. And while this was my first WW Chicago, based on accounts I've read and heard from prior years, I could tell the show wasn't what is used to be, which is sad since it is Wizard's #1 show. But after having been to WW Philadelphia earlier this year, it's clear Wizard is losing touch with what it takes to put on a show that makes attendees AND exhibitors look forward to coming back the next year. On a side note, I know virtually nothing about John Barrowman, but I have now seen his Q&A at Fan Expo Dallas and WW Chicago, and the man is insanely entertaining. Even if you're not in to panels or Q&A's, I would highly recommend going to one for John Barrowman if you have the chance. You won't regret it.
  8. My understanding is that it's no more than one month between signatures, so that the "hold" period can be stretched out as long as a signature is added no later than a month after the prior signature.
  9. I'll be late to the party and won't get to the show until the chaos truly begins on Saturday.
  10. If you did that, you would receive a Signature Series Qualified label, as the Greg Pak signature would not have been witnessed by CGC. In my opinion, you would be better off starting with an unsigned copy if you want the book to be Signature Series.
  11. While he was alive, seems like it was pretty common to get him to sign Killing Jokes, as he was generally credited as a co-creator of the Joker. It would not surprise me if the number is greater than 20. I had three done myself.
  12. And another awesome book courtesy of @Rich_Henn.
  13. As someone who in the 60's watched Lost in Space and wanted to be just like Will Robinson, it's hard to beat this one. Kudos to @Rich_Henn for making it happen. Now just need to figure out a way to add June Lockhart.
  14. I know @BeachBum posted pics in the Donnie Yen thread, but surprised no one has posted one of their own. Kudos to Beachbum and @ScottsCollectable for getting this done.
