Up for sale are the Signature Series books appearing below signed by Famke Janssen, the actress who played Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men movies. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is $13 for any number of books. Insurance up to $50 is included; additional insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears.

@Kevlar is scheduled to be at both WW Chicago and Fan Expo Canada. I thought @dscott was going to be as well, but I don't see his name listed for Chicago.

The best thing to do is to go straight to the source and call Sam Peterson (SS Director) at CGC. He can walk you through your options.

Unless you really want Emma Caufield over Charisma Carpenter, another option would be to send the book to one of the facilitators going to WW Chicago and Fan Expo Canada and let them handle the book. Nicholas Brendan (who is also scheduled for Columbus) and Charisma Carpenter are scheduled at Chicago.

Thanks everybody for the input. As it turns out, the other guy ending up trading the book to someone else and never gave me a heads up he was ready to do so unless he heard back from me. Oh well. At least now I have a small sampling of thoughts on the matter if it ever comes up again.

Here's the label if that helps.

Someone has offered to trade me a CGC 6.5 blue label Batman #5 that has "very minor amount of color touch on cover" noted on the label. Would you expect that to have much of an effect on the value compared to a blue label 9.5 without any color touch noted, or is minor color touch on older books not that big a deal?
