That's awesome - I know you're stoked about that piece. My first WTB for Snap Happys got fulfilled shortly after my very first post here on the boards. Yup, just had to beg for 18 months but who cares, now it's mine!!

Just put up the WTB thread, and bump it occasionally. It took me 18 months to get the MK cover, but I'd still be looking without the WTB.

I just got my Bill Sienkiewicz Moon Knight cover OA thanks to a WTB thread. I also got my copy of Crime SuspenStories via to a WTB, and filled a bunch of holes in my Infantino Batman runs.

Yeah, if I wasn't about to get the 34 cover I would have been super interested in that 24 back cover. It's a great picture. And don't worry, this didn't cost anything like $20K!!

...as much as I appreciate his newer stuff, I'll always prefer his "Adams" period the best..... at that time he was doing Adams as good as Adams.... and that's a tall order. I missed the early ones somehow.... and came on board somewhere in the 20's..... I spent a few months scouring shops to fill in the gaps.... it was a labor of love.... GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u He was very good as an Adams clone. Then he started drawing like he was taking acid before putting pencil to paper. I remember a certain issue of the New Mutants that featured the Kingpin with a body the size of Ohio and a head the size of a baseball. That Kingpin is from the DD graphic novel I believe. And yeah, my favorite era is when he's starting to get into his Sienkiewiczness but is still channel a ton of Neal Adams. It's a very cool combination that you can really watch evolving over the MK run and into the New Mutants.

You are correct, he did acknowledge he was not in compliance. As a 'fix' he broadly graded all books Good+ or something ridiculous. I just don't like the way things are headed with sellers here. First, the new thing was to not post pics, only if requested sort of thing. Now here, he is not even giving a grade, trying to explain that you can ascertain a general grade by the price. ? I mean you can list on the Boards for free. Isn't that incentive enough to put a little effort in to a sales thread, like grading the books. I'm sorry, if you are one of the buyers I think you are wrong in condoning this. I previously had a lot of respect for this seller as a Boardie. Now, I don't know, I just don't understand what's going on here anymore. Does anybody monitor the Sales threads anymore ? Doesn't anyone else care ? I don't monitor them.

I try and stay out of these marathon debates when they pop up from time to time on these boards. They give me a head-ache with all of the theories, speculations, and what if's. What're you talking about man? Now we get to re-examine every aspect of every process, assuming it's all totally broken, and try to come up with a bunch of clarifications that ain't gonna happen!!

There isn't a vote for PL. You don't complete a transaction, wronged person shows proof, you get nominated, and 3 days later you go on the list till you make it right. He turned it up to HoS level with his stream of lies, in my opinion. Other than when he admitted he never had the book, everything he told 4comics and the boards was pure BS. Of course, you are correct - there is no poll for the PL. And yes, everything he said was BS. I'm not denying these proven facts or defending HusBoy. No-one though is answering the actual question. Where is the cut-off between a PL offence being upgraded to a HOS offense when new 'info' comes to light? Again, if Hustruck had been put on the PL (which he was) and things had gone on its merry way with no further problems - 3 months later the cracked slab pic had been exposed - would their be all this clamour to go to HOS? I'm just asking a question, which no-one wants to address or answer. Actually its Jimmy L's question........ Who says there's any statute of limitations? If someone wants to nominate a Boardie for the HOS they can do so whenever they want. If they prove their case and have the votes then they succeed. As for "double jeopardy," I don't see it. The PL and HOS are different beasts with different processes and different goals.

But why put up with people like that? It makes it seem like his only crime was getting caught. Nobody should put up with it. I'm just basing my decision on the HOS process as it is now. Pages upon pages of all this back and forth shows that it is flawed. I personally believe that his transgression was worse than the Red Rocks incident. Hustruck openly tried to deceive the community whereas Red Rocks' crime was flipping. I think polls should be open instead of hidden as well (board ids) - this would help stop any favoritism. I disagree completely...and this is why I really was unhappy when the poll was pulled. Stuff like that should not happen. EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion. If the poll got pulled because a few people spoke up about it, won't that influence voting, too? Talking should take place before and after and the polls should be blind, no one should see the results till it's too late to influence people...and I firmly believe they should be in CG, not here. There are a lot more members than just the people who post on this thread. Thanks for making this statement Wait, what happened?
