  1. Wasn't NOTLD about some strange meteor? That's what the government WANTS you to believe! Maybe you are thinking of Night of the Comet (excellent 80s zombie flick)? I can't remember the original NOTLD explaining anything except the tag line that when hell is full, the dead walk the earth. In any case, these days its always either Aliens or the Government.
  2. It's always a government experiment that got out of hand!
  3. I bet it's hard to come up with an explantion for the zombie outbreak that's original, it couldn't be... That hell is full Earth passed through the tail of a comet Nuclear war Biblical in nature A purposefully released chemical weapon An accidentally released chemical weapon Same previous two, but a virus The government (outside of above four options) The result of an occult ritual So what's left? Global warming? (Please, don't let it be global warming).
  4. I was really happy with the issue and I thought the art was fantastic with lots of good shadow work. I'm pumped about the closing teaser too!
  5. Kudos to 143ksk for a nice Wings #94, quickly shipped.
  6. Kudos to topofthetotem for a great Fear & Man-Thing combo!
  7. Kudos to Avenger80 for some awesome Weird Wars quickly shipped.
  8. Well I came in late, around issue 40 after the catching up through the trades so I guess I haven't suffered as much as everyone else here and I'm still willing to believe the lies.
  9. I'm sure you will!!! Let us know what you think I have read many many more novels/classics than comics, and I dont read that many comics, but this is a great effin read. I am only through the first comic, and I love it. The art, the storytelling.. its great. Very enjoyable read. I blew by it so fast, I went back and just looked through the art bc I feel like I read it so fast I missed a lot of detail. I will report when done with first chapter. You really have to pace yourself or you blow through these quick, wait til you must have the next single issue and it doesn't last long enough...
  10. I know exactly what you mean, could it have been a bit rushed?

  13. 1. Dr. Doom 2. Batman 3. Man-Thing 4. Professor X 5. The Crypt Keeper
  14. Kudos to flatrock02 for quicly delivered Wonder Woman comics, well graded.
  15. Stunning set of a killer run Jaw-dropping.
  16. You know an interesting follow-up question would be what kind of equity do you have in your collection? Or more simply put, how much did you pay for it and how much is it (in theory) worth? I bet most people haven't tracked that. It'd be hard to record the price you paid for every comic in your collection.
  17. I'm sure this has already appeared somewhere in the thread, but it's my first Fiction House and my first GGA, so I'm posting it anyway: Awesome books in this thread, I foresee many lost dollars in the future for me.
  18. Kudos to pjthib for a beautiful GGA book, well-graded, quickly shipped...
