Something I figured I'd mention, as we're in the first week of episodes (and approaching the release of another Superman project): I care very deeply about Superman, because he was created by Jewish immigrants to represent the Jewish immigrant experience, and I’ve always been bothered by the grittier Superman because, for me, he’s supposed to represent a hopeful, future, American immigrant experience. The Superman captured by this show, and by the 1990s DCAU shows, portrays that in, I think, a better way than Cavill’s did (not to say Cavill was a bad Superman or anything). Yes, Snyder deliberately went in a different direction, and I get that, but I figured I’d explain why it bothers me that Snyder did.

Yes - I think this was all part of Jack Kirby's Eternals run.

I've given up trying to predict who's the "big bad".  I'm just enjoying the ride and can't wait to see what happens next.

I can't really speak for the millions of WandaVision fans around the world, but what keeps me coming back each week isn't the sitcom of the week "gimmick" at all, though the mystery of who's pulling the strings is compelling.
What compels me to tune in to WandaVision every Friday at 3am is the story of Wanda's state of mind. She really crazy or is there something else? Also I find compelling the story of Vision's state of existence, a story continued from Infinity War. Is he dead or alive? Also the story of Monica Rambeau. She grew up to be a badaas and I like following her around as she attempts to help Wanda and Vision and the residents of Westview. Also the story of SWORD and this jerk in charge of everything. Is he just a trigger happy soldier or does he have darker plans? Also the story of Wanda's children. Also the love story of Wanda and Vision which we're finally seeing fleshed out, albeit in the form of a sitcom. And yes, the mystery of who's behind it all. Is it all Wanda? Was it really Agatha all along? There's a lot of stories in this show I find compelling. But that's just me.
As far as the sitcom of the week thing being a gimmick, I know it's easy to simply dismiss it as such, as so far there doesn't seem to be a reason behind it other than being gimmicky, kind of like how WW84 used the 80's as a gimmick and nothing more. However, Darcy posed the question to Agent Woo on the reason to have a sitcom from a different decade and that it couldn't have just been for her enjoyment. Paul Bettany teased in an earlier interview that by the end of the series, the whole broadcast sitcom thing will make sense. So something tells me the sitcom of the week thing is more than just a gimmick.

For me, I love this show. I already feel it's better written and executed than some recent MCU films including both Spiderman movies, Dr Strange, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. I've been light binging the show since yesterday and the sitcom episodes take on a different meaning with the knowledge of Agatha Harkness. I enjoy seeing this new Phase Four world of the MCU with SWORD and the new/old characters. It's cool following a major new character in Monica Rambeau. Being a life-long fan of the Vision and the Scarlet Witch (Vision was always my favorite Avenger), and seeing their relationship kind of fast-tracked through the Avengers movies, it's great to finally see them spend some quality time together and watch these two freaks try to act like normal people, as if. For me, WandaVision is one of the best things I've seen come out of Marvel Studios.

Just be ready for this Thor story being very emotional.
These are gods stuck in semi-human form, hungry for new followers. So things don't always go so smoothly for them.

    Really good!
Yes, there are episodes where by filling viewers in on all the immigrant gods trapped in America in can feel like filler content in itself. But when you find out about the relationship of characters like Odin and Thor and where this leads the payoff in the end is both intense and emotional.

The quality declined once Russell T Davies left.
Moffat is a great writer, when he's not trying to be too clever, but not a show runner.
The new bloke is a failure on every level for this show.

I really liked it. But in the second season, i think (when did they meet the slavic gods?), we found it hard to stay awake deep into episodes. We're old and we couldn't stay awake on them past 11. I had the same problem with Good Omens. i'm not saying that made it bad, it is just that some shows I can stay awake on.

It's a mystery show and as someone said earlier, once you know the answer to the mystery there's no need to watch again.
