Bosco685
Marvel's 'Vision and Scarlet Witch' Series Lands 'Captain Marvel' Writer (Exclusive) Quote The Vision and Scarlet Witch, one of the first series that Marvel Studios will be making for Disney’s streaming service Disney+, has landed a writer and show-runner. Jac Schaeffer, one of the scribes behind Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel movie, has been tapped to run point on the series that will focus on the two characters that are integral members of the Avengers. She will pen the pilot and executive produce, say sources. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to star in the series, reprising the roles they originated on the big screen. For Schaeffer, the deal to run Vision and Scarlet Witch strengthens her ties to Marvel. In addition to working on Captain Marvel, she also penned the screenplay for Black Widow, Marvel’s movie project centering on the Avengers character played by Scarlett Johansson, which is due to shoot later this year. She also co-wrote the Disney short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. Edited January 1, 2020 by Bosco685 Release year and title reveal

McDonell hasn’t had very many projects but she has served as a director and executive producer on Meet Cute, which is a short film that stars Jon Bass (Baywatch, Molly’s Game) and Juno Temple (Mr. Nobody, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For). Bosco685
Quote Details surrounding WandaVision still remain relatively slim, the series is expected to be showrunby Black Widow writer Jac Schaeffer, and will tell a story involving the pair that goes beyond what could be covered in a movie. “We like to take big swings at Marvel Studios ... this story is definitely something unexpected and surprising, as well as something we can only do in a longform series,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said during the presentation. “Most exciting to us is that in addition to the films available on the platform, Marvel will be creating original series just for Disney+." “Over the course of the 23 films, we’ve pulled together a roster of amazing actors and talented filmmakers, and we’re excited to continue to work with these individuals to tell new, longformstories in ways that we’ve never done before. These shows will be on the same level of quality that you’ve come to expect from Marvel Studios, and we’ll be taking advantage of that creative freedom that Disney+ offers exploring the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with our favorite characters over multiple episodes. These will be both new and continuing stories, and one of the things we’re most excited about, is that these will be major storylines set in the MCU with ramifications that will be felt both through the other Disney+ series we’re producing and our features on the big screen.” WandaVision is rumored to debut on Disney+ sometime in 2019. theCapraAegagrus
Interesting title, I guess. How much is Disney+'s service cost? I'd be interested in checking these out when they launch.

Bosco685
'WandaVision' Release Date and Spoilers for the MCU Couple's Disney+ Show Quote “WandaVision”? Is That Really The Final Title? Fans balked when it was first announced that the official title of the series was going to be WandaVision. There was no real explanation about why the title was chosen, leaving fans to be cool with the fact the title is just a mash-up of the lead characters’ names. Maybe the series will shed some light on why this title is what it is? When Is the WandaVision Release Date? The IMDb page for WandaVision lists the series premiere for 2019. With Disney+ set to launch on November 12, 2019, it’s likely WandaVision will be among the first slew of original series put onto the platform. If WandaVision doesn’t launch with the rest of the platform in November but still sticks to a 2019 release, you can likely expect it to appear shortly after the launch in November or December. How Many Episodes Will WandaVision Have? We know that fellow MCU/Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be a limited series so even though it’s been unconfirmed, we’re willing to be WandaVision will also be a limited series. Considering IMDb lists only 6 episodes for the show (a typical limited series episode order), that feels like an especially safe bet.
