I don't see much following and goading in this last round of frothiness. Nope, just Bosco calling him a "scummer." My memory might be fuzzy, but I sat through the catfight and I don't recall Nick calling Rocky a "scummer." Did he cross the line of poor taste and judgment in his argument? Yes, certainly. Should he have just shut his mouth and let it go? Most assuredly. But the main point he was making was that Rocky's behavior impacts people's willingness to deal with him on a business level. As dismissive as Rocky or anyone else might be of this point, it is undeniably true (and would be true of anyone else who engages in polarizing behavior on this board).

If it was me, I would just walk away as I would not want to have anything to do with the selling of PGX books on the CGC web site. Your mileage may vary. If it were me, I would worry about all the unnecessary capitalization.

From what I can recall, Darker Image was created first (even though, according to Comic Vine, it and Maxx #1 were released on the same day), and Maxx was meant to be part of the Darker Image anthology. Lee and Liefeld couldn't keep up, so the idea of DI was scrapped and Maxx was given his own series. But I am a bit tipsy, so that could be wrong. If they came out the same day we then go to alphabetical!!! DI..wins by FATALITY!!! Lotta Mortal Kombat references lately, kemo sabi...

Matrix glitch? Good call, Charlie. I knew I remembered that info from somewhere: Darker Image #1 is the first appearance of the Maxx. In both character and spelling. No question. It contained a short preview of The Maxx #1 which (I think) came out the following month. Comico's Primer #5 is still a cool issue to own since it is probably Sam Kieths first professional work. Here is a cool bit of info. Anthony met Bill Loebs and had a bunch of books SS'd for me. This is a quote from Anthony: "I didn't know this but he told me the darker image was supposed to be an ongoing series but the fact that only he and Sam on Maxx hit the deadline, they canceled the series and gave them their own book."

I completely agree. This is out of left field. I mean, branget sold a 9.9 SS a few months ago for about $750. Maybe it's time to start listing some of my collection... I just can't believe I got ripped off so badly for my page of OA from that issue.
