  1. I guess. You're free to be offended by whatever you want. I just prefer to save my indignation for the truly reprehensible (like the tool chest named Larry), not for a one-off comment that uses the word "black" in a non-derogatory sense. In other words, y'all some sensitive- crackers.
  2. Where? I don't believe stating observations in that manner is offensive. Then how is it different than saying "the GIF with the black kid"?
  3. Oversensitivity to racial distinctions is, in itself, a form of racism.
  4. So, I'm not allowed to say "that's a black person over there"?
  5. sorry not interested in Larry Variants This x10. That is unless we can get a Larry variant with that little black boy with the saying "Thats Racist" under it. Then I might buy a Larry variant. Some would consider that rascist. Practice what you preach. My Jerel I think that's stretching it a bit, Jerel.
  6. And if the show takes its cues from the comic, you'll never get any of that.
  7. There isn't any significance...yet. More or less, it's a speculative buy in the hopes that whoever this mystery person is becomes a new major character.
  8. Which leaves me wondering what it was that Dr. Jenner told Rick as they left the CDC. I had originally thought it was about Lori's pregnancy.
  9. +1 Though I wonder if opinion differs based on if someone started by reading the comic first or watching the TV show. But that's just it. The comic is about survival. And not just that, but also about rebuilding communities and holding onto your own humanity during this catastrophe. Ummm, the world has gone down the pooper due to a zombie apocalypse. No realistic depiction of that is going to have the characters skipping around, holding hands, exclaiming "Gee willikers!" at the sight of a zombie horde. Honestly, I'm not really sure what you were expecting. In my opinion, any vulgarity in TWD is at least justified, unlike, say, just about any comic released by Avatar these days. What scares me more then a zombie plague is that I am actually agreeing with you TJ on many things lately

  11. Glad I got him on both my Boondock Saints poster and my Walking Dead Daniel Danger print at Dragon Con. (thumbs u
  12. Quick grab the and get him to sign my Tony Moore print of issue #1 since he no showed in Cincy last weekend. Unfortunately, I wasn't there. But my buddy's girlfriend was.
  13. That's awesome Lebowski! Does Laura Martin take at home commissions or only at cons? She does do commissions at home. This one actually started out as one I dropped off with her at Dragon Con, but she didn't have time to work on it there, so she took it home. I think it turned out pretty damn sweet. Plus, I think the piece was fun for her as both she and her husband are huge Big Lebowski fans as well.
  14. Miracleman by Oliver Nome. Beautiful background detail in this piece.
  15. Just got a pic of my latest commission. The Dude by Brian Stelfreeze with colors by Laura Martin:
  16. Prove it I dont have another copy handy. The art in the little box is from asm300, which wouldnt even come for another year. This is a reprint distributed by JCpenny iirc. I sold mine a couple of years back, but isn't there an ad on the back for the X-Men animated series? That show didn't come out until the early 90's.
  17. My vote would be a pretty emphatic no. Also, how does one purchase an $800 book and then cry poverty afterward?
  18. What does that diarrhea mess of a run-on sentence even mean? You haven't sent the book yet, have you? If you haven't, don't. Walk away from what will surely grow into a larger headache of a deal.
  19. Wait, is it an $80 book or an $800 book? Surely the difference in $50 and $80 in customs dues can only be a couple of dollars at most.
