  1. Sadly you will have to crack them. No way to really tell by the pics. If I had to guess there is some sort of indent but thats just speculation.
  2. I had a submission that I sent off recently and for some reason it bounced status from one to another. The submission went from schedule for grading, then grading/encapsulation, then back to schedule to grading. Is this normal or is something weird happening with my order?
  3. If im being honest, it looks like its on the case and not on the card. Ive seen japanese cards get 10s with print lines, so its not like those things should prevent the card from getting a 10. If I had one complaint about CGC is that the English cards are still graded a bit too inconstantly. I dont send in alot of English cards due to this. We dont really even know what the centering standards should be, which is public info for every other grading company. Id like to send in more english cards, but not if the average is 9.5. Modern cards barely gain any premiums from only being a 9.5. Not saying every card needs to be a 10, but when the eye appeal of the card shows no transparent issues and you have to take UV lights just to show anything, it makes submitting english cards not ideal.
  4. Did you send two different tcgs with two different card sizes? I always get 2 separate orders when I send Pokemon and Yugioh since they have different card sizes and need separate slabs. They also do ship at separate times sometimes as well.
  5. PSA 10 is pretty hard to get and not really a guaranteed even with pack fresh cards. If you were to grade them, if the cards have zero issues, its more likely you will end up with CGC 9 to 9.5. A 10 could be possible but its typically not likely. And if you sold them raw, they would be worth whatever the raw price is since you cant get graded prices for raw cards. I dont know what the backs of your cards are like or if they are played, so no idea how to truly evaluate them. Id probably recommend grading them if you are not in a hurry to get the cash but I do buy cards if you dont want to deal with that. The 1st ed foils are pretty decent cards though, but its providing they have no issues with them.
  6. How do you know that those dots are not on the case itself? Since if you look at the top of the case where there is no card, you can see similar dots.
  7. Ah ok cool. I will sub them in my next submission. Thanks for the update.
  8. Id be interested in the 1st ed foil cards raw if your looking to sell them asap. Those are the best cards out of the lot if you didnt know. You can message me if you want to unload them quickly.
  9. I recently sent off a bunch of Yugioh korean cards except for these 4 since none of them are appearing in the database. Most of the original reprint sets are in it, but Legacy of Darkness and Phantom Darkness are missing. There is also none of these cards from the 20th anniversary as well. What is the issue regarding this?
  10. Does CGC have any plans to ever grade these? The market on packs is huge and Jumbos also exist in MTG.
  11. I got a similar sub back and its mostly japanese that gets the 10s. Ive had 1 english pokemon card get a 10 and 2 english yugioh cards get 10s. English 10s are tough to get, but its because the quality control of modern cards is pretty bad. Lots of centering issues on modern cards. If you sub modern, be very careful to look the cards over since 99% of high end cards that I go through, all have issues and you will probably get 9s or at best 9.5s. Very few modern cards can hit a 10 very easily.
  12. So was mine. Im thinking that the 4th of july and the influx of subs before the increasing in pricing might be slowing them down a bit. It usually takes a week on average to get my stuff logged in and another to grade. Not really surprising with the holidays recently that its slowed down a bit.
  13. You would just use the economy tier then. The bulk is so they can get a critical mass of business. You would pay more for economy but there are no minimums. You can also use PWCC if your going to resell it since its only 20 bucks on there and no minimums.
  14. oh wow, that is exciting. surprised it was not on the front page. ill be sure to send some in then the next time i can pick some up. thanks for the update!
  15. I was working on a submission of some English Yugioh cards and now see that cards of other languages, such as german, french, italian, along with japanese (ocg) have been added to the database. Is CGC officially grading these now? Am I able to submit them in my next submission and have them graded?
  16. Thank you for the reply. Any estimation of a time frame of when this will happen?
  17. For all the hype of Yugioh finally coming to CGC, I was disappointed to learn that OCG and Foreign cards (including the GBI god cards that are technically english, but were a japanese release) are not being graded. Any reason behind this? And any idea of when OCG/Japanese and Foreign (Spanish, Italian, etc.) will be added?
