  1. Cool, thanks, Nick! You can re-obscure it now While I agree with the 3-D Zone being worth the points, it still seems like there are a lot of really low points for highest graded copy left in this set. I have 23 books (22 in 9.8, and 1 in 9.9) listed, you have 14 (13 in 9.8, 1 in 9.6 - with only two books that I lack), and yet you jumped to a 62 point lead... PM me... we should put our heads together and give Gemma a well-planned points spread, because what exists seems a little... random.
  2. ... Looks like I slept through my window for seeing your set, Nick. Congrats on the #1ness!
  3. He's gonna have to catch it first..... At least Gemma listened to our request. Now let's get you back up on the heap, king of Steven kings. I really hate obscured sets. What purpose do they serve? Did you just ask Nick to stop hiding his set from you? For him to just show you his set? Did I read that right? Ummm... maybe? I didn't mean it to be a demand, though... was just wondering why, or how, obscuring them made a contribution to the competitive set? I can understand that they are good for record keeping, and some people don't want to field inquiries for books that they have no intention of selling... , guess I just answered my own question... But, I still hate them

  9. Well deserved, Joshua. If anyone has had long-standing love of Stevens art, it's definitely been you. I was twelve when I first read the Rocketeer (Chapter One)... I'm 41 now... yeah, it's been a long love affair
  10. Just wanted to celebrate a little... With my 3 new additions, this is now the #1 registry set and the Bettie Pages should be here later today
  11. Awesome addition to your collection, man! Congrats!
  12. Thanks for bringing that up, man... I forgot I had it... Haven't built my trades an GNs shelving yet, so they're still boxed up
  13. BETTIE PAGE COMICS #1 - 29 graded, 18 in 9.8, 5 higher
  14. How do the census numbers compare between the issues? BETTIE PAGE COMICS #1 - 29 graded, 18 in 9.8, 5 higher BETTIE PAGE: QUEEN OF THE NILE #2 - 7 graded, 6 in 9.8 BETTIE PAGE: QUEEN OF THE NILE #3 - 8 graded, 5 in 9.8 There's the sad tale of throwing a bid at a book when you have to be at work before the sale ends. On the other hand... I will be in the #1 position by a decent margin as soon as these come in
  15. Ok... who gave me the nosebleed last night?
  16. Exactly! You'll find one soon enough. Either wait, or you send in your 9.6 raw finally. ... believe it or not, I've never actually submitted directly to CGC, other than once at Heroes con... I really need to figure out how to go about it. I have LOTS of books that need CGC9.6+ing.
  17. Yeah, I really want one!!!! But, it has gone from 1 to 4 copies in the last couple of months, so my chances are getting better
