  1. Nice book! VERY COOL! :o :o :o :o Very nice.
  2. WOW These are awesome copies. That Strange Tales 69 is just beautiful.
  3. (thumbs u I missed so many boardies at Chicago. I searched the floor for Sharon and several others, but never bumped heads. I will resolve this problem next year though, and Goom still rules. DR.X Beautiful copy.
  4. The Portsmouth collection is also known as the R.J. Long collection....about 2000 books from 1954-1964.....7.0 to 9.4....stored in hat boxes and apple crates by the original owner. Many had non color breaking curls and waves from storage conditions. It had a CGC 9.2 ASM # 1 that sold way back in one of Heritage's first auctions. The guy walked into my friend's store with a couple of apple boxes full of mostly westerns. He told him he had quite a few more and my buddy agreed to look at them. Most of the Marvel keys were there as well as many of the D.C.'s. Real nice books....I had about 10 of the monster books at one time...but traded or sold them. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u I own a Portsmouth Copy of G.I. Combat 98. It is a beautiful copy and I have the certificate from Amazing Fantasy comics. The unfortunate thing is that when I submitted the book for grading CGC did not recognize it as a pedigree.
  5. One of my favorite pre-hero covers of all-time. Love that Martian cover. I should have snagged that TOS 29 that was on C link back in Jan Another beautiful gem Korvac.
  6. One of the issue's I was thinking of, 80-90 are pretty solid. I would also love to get a hold of a 8.0 ST 85. But this does present very well Surfer.
  7. I think a pre hero JIM cover contest will be much harder then the TTA and TOS. 54, 64 and the awesome 78 come to mind as iconic classics, but that is just my overly biased, selfish opinion Strange Tales might be the hardest though.
  8. I've seen better but here is my copy. Very nice.
  9. Who needs GCD? Anybody got a Two Gun Kid 60 that they would like to share?
  10. Kudos to Buried_Alien for a sweet copy of a pre-hero book. Book was packed neat, tight and secure. Very professional and great communication. Here's to you Paul.
  11. UGH...I cant believe this won out over #29...I never thought too much about #34...oh well. I like 34 just fine, but I flat LOVE 29. Just got it back from CGC. Still looking for an 8.5 or better
