  1. That Strang Tales 77 has an awesome black cover, I would love to get a hold of that in an 8.0. Only (2) 9.0's and the rest below 7.5, looks like I will be waiting awhile
  2. Just got a hold of this off Ebay. I was doing a late night comb of Marvel Westerns and this beauty poped up. Another cool Kirby sunset cover.
  3. This Strange Tale ( 95 ) seems hard to find in any grade. Love that cover.

  6. I just got this back from CGC this morning. One of my top 5 favorite covers from the Atlas Monster pre-hero's. I finally got a hold of this copy from Metro after it went MIA for 3 months .
  7. That is one heck of a copy turtleboy, simply stunning. Deep reds and a well centered gem. Man, everybody is pulling out the heavy artillery lately. This thread is awesome.
  8. Tough in high grade. Beautiful book with awesome Kirby art and a cool story with a great twist. Congrats rube11 I was about to purchase this book from Goldust recently. Procrastination, not a friend.

  12. Love those Ditko covers and the splash pages to those Amazing Adventures could have made great covers also. Ditko was on a roll back then.

  17. Allright, I finally got a hold of a sweet copy of TTA 29 thanks to a fellow Board member. This also has a nice flying saucer cover and great Kirby space montsers. This is one of my favorite covers from the Pre-hero Atlas/Marvel group and I am still in shock that I got a hold of it. This was the fourth and final book I had set out to purchase in 2010, pretty elated. Now to find Strange Tales 96 and Journey Into Mystery 54 .

  22. Sure, I can share...the image that is! TOS #32 -- THE MAN IN THE BEE-HIVE is one of my favorite stories. The mutant Farnsworth would have made such a good early SA villian -- I wonder if he was ever retconned into current Marvel continuity? Do you think when Hank Pym switched over to the Yellow Jacket that this try out was used as referance for that idea?
