7.0-7.5 after clean and press.

I ended up with 12 which I believe is my worst round ever (right on the heels of my best round). My gut on Horrific was saying 3.0, but I put 1.8 because of the full spine tape and extra staples...must be a full spine split, no? Compared to my first glance gut grades I also hammered Doc Solar and Diary Secrets (3.5 compared to gut of 5.5 in both cases). I guess I put too much weight on the cumulative defects instead of the worst defects. I also thought Doc Solar had rusted staples which I didn't notice in my "gut grade". A learning round I guess, which is why I participate.

Grades submitted. This was another challenging round for me. I have a feeling I will be arguing why CGC was wrong when the results come in.

Wow. Best round ever for me. Four bullseyes and a total of one point. It almost makes up for my 10 point round two.

Grades are in. This round seemed more difficult than usual.

So I submitted elsewhere for signature verification (and it was verified!) and grading. Came back 7.5 but..."thin black color touch along entire spine edge".

The back cover could also use a cleaning, but it looks like there is some tanning and/or foxing. I also think this is about an 8.0.

Hello, I won't be submitting this to CGC due to the autograph. However, I am wondering how much the colour rub hurts this comic. Back right rear corner is not a tear (just more colour rub).

With less than 24 hours before this round closes Mike has made no mention of multiple bullseyes or low scores for this round. I think those surprises are imminent.

Ohh…a Cerebus book…I’m feeling lucky now.

In the grading contests my errors skew towards over grading, but it seems I am the pessimist today. Looks like an 8.5 to me.

I see two colour breaking ticks with another one possibly hiding in the glare…but for a cover with that much black it looks pretty nice. I’d say 9.0.
