Almost finished with my Conan runs. Picked up these two just last week. The 4 is pretty.....the 8 is lesser. Also, I was reading this book called "All in Color for a Dime" ( a good read BTW) and the last essay is by Harlan Elison who talks about a comic he read as a kid called.....Jingle Jangle. He bragged about its wackiness so much I thought "I'm gonna get one of those". I had never read it before. Its OK.....not great but OK.

This one is probably my all time favorite cover. Even after all these years, when I look at it, I just think.....Whoa, "THAT".....is a comic book !!

Well, this finally arrived......and its a great read !!

Holy Mackrel.....you guys are showin off some FANTASTIC new books !!! I can't compete.....but I sure love lookin at em .....knowing they really exist. Makes me kinda feel like the "little kid brother" .....who is tagging along. So.....without further ado.......I bring to you.....on day 16.....the book I have eagerly been waiting for. Its in a little bit more beat up shape than I thought.......(around a 3.0 - 4.0) ...but I'm not sending it back. I already read it.....(while sipping an Imperial IPA homebrew)......and enjoyed every second of it. * * * * * any guesses?........... * * * * * * * * *

Thats a brutal cover. Look at the legs of the guy in green with the DB shotgun.....its like he's just walking by blasting on the way down to the newspaper stand...... (hmmmmm??.....maybe its a pistol)

Love that Police Comics! mmmmmm......Police Comics......*sigh*......thats one of Coles good covers too. You know.....I didn't see a single Police and only 1 beat up copy of Plastic Man in the last VCC. Its ok though.....I'm a little short this month. Nice book Weird Paper
