  1. That's Super, Bill (funny cover)! (did you ever follow-up on the lead I had for a single-digit issue?) And here it is Thanks again for the lead Steve, and thanks to the Bunky Brothers for the deal
  2. You're very welcome, Scott. Glad you enjoyed it. And welcome to the boards, both you and Mr. Indica. Jeff
  3. That's BZ's cue to post the "Curse of Capistrano" All-Story.
  4. Very nice! I was at a panel yesterday where we were discussing Jack Vance's sword and sorcery stories. Welcome to the boards! :appaluse:
  5. That was great BZ! Thanks for posting that.
  6. Those are all super cool. The various Buck Rogers guns come up fairly regularly, though I guess some are scarcer than others. I'd like to get one someday.
  7. Beautiful, Todd! Was this an upgrade as well? (If so, PM me about the undercopy. )
  8. Nice pick up! I just love the late Sensation WW issues, and this one's definitely near impossible to find in high grades. Having the highest on the CGC Census is just an added bonus (thumbs u Love it! And with a black cover no less. Outstanding!
  9. That is my hope and that if it manages to break even maybe a lower budget sequel will be possible. But it's a slim hope. And it's a real shame. I just got back from my second viewing and I think I enjoyed it even more this time.
  10. A lot of them are also being uploaded at ERBzine. They've used some of mine and I've used some of theirs. That article is really one-sided and misleading. Check out the John Carter thread in General for a number of articles that take on this type of unfair, lazy "journalism." The bottom line is, the movie really good. The critics should have been reviewing the movie---not the budget. Here is a good article dicussing the media and critical reception this film has received: http://www.forbes.com/sites/markhughes/2012/03/11/john-carter-opens-with-100-million-worldwide/
  11. It's a really nice copy of super tough book. I have a fanzine from 1934 in which it was described as rare. So even that early it's scarcity was recognized. I know you've wanted one for a long time. Congrats brother!
  12. My turn to add to David's pulpy Barsoomian goodness.
  13. Feb 28... Feb 28... didn't that one have a story about some squid thingy?
