  1. This was an impulse buy after I sold my 5.5 recently. Another book has come up that desperately needs to be in my permanent collection. Book will ship from NY to a Boardie in good standing (i.e. not on the HOS or Probation List). $2,250 shipped to you! $2,080 or $2,000 with feeless payment
  2. Sold him a nice Action 252 in a transaction as smooth as butter in summer time!
  3. Everyone likes Johnny Craig, no?
  4. Sometimes I like the chase as much as I like the keeps. That means I often re-sell books not so long after purchase, or shortly after upgrading.
  5. Who really cares how they are branded or named in the marketplace. The important features are that the US and UK copies were made at the same time on the same machines with immatetial differences in price tag and date on the cover, with the UK copies being circa 20 times rarer.
  6. +1 I rarely sell or buy on the bay any more anyway. I much prefer these boards for comics. Agreed. I have had too many problems with irrational eBayers.
  7. I was featured on the Faso blog today, if it interests anyone: here
  8. Ah, so you are the one who won it. I regret selling my copy in 2010
  9. kildare2 I offer a discount so I can move a book and tuck away dough for the upcoming CC Event. Buyer has what I might call a small emotional breakdown when a 9.0 is not perfect. Listed with "no returns" I gladly offer to take it back and provide appropriate wording in German for return of goods shipments. Has what I would call a second mini emotional breakdown and apparently will wait until the last allowable minute to open a claim. I should have blocked this buyer when she requested falsified customs declarations to ship to her in Canada. Sigh - eBay has a lot of riff raff.
  10. No photos, but I just picked up Vault of Horror 30 from the boards and high grades of Crime Suspenstories 6 and Haunt of Fear 19. Can't wait to get them in hand!
  11. 4 as is. 5+ with a press. Indeed quite nice.
  12. You need to be careful. Many people are leery of signed copies and there's no guarantee it will sell at the price you want. As it is, ASM #129 isn't the best long-term Bronze investment as prices are dropping. First and foremost it is IH #181 and then GS-X #1. Prices hold on these two gems, so perhaps sell your copy and upgrade to one of these? Do not SS it. A lot of people like me will not buy SS books, shrinking the buying pool. There is no shortage of SS books out there, so your book would not be any more special than it is. The Punisher has long-lasting appeal, especially if the upcoming series can draw even more interest in the character. Keep it.
  13. Disagree with those two for sure. Flash 106 is pretty darn pricey for Gorilla Grodd and the Pied Piper. I believe it is the second most valuable book in the entire Flash run. (I don't think that it should be, I think that honor should belong to 123.) As to MS5, two horrible movies for a C level character should be the kiss of death, yet MS5 kind of defied that expectation and is still up there in the same ball park as Hero for Hire 1. That is staying power if you ask me. Ghost Rider is great - it would be a great animated series.
  14. 80 mins, WTF? I can summarise the five minutes I watched: "I do not like CGC anymore, also they banned me." I imagine the other 75 mins says the same... many times. What a dinkus maximus. A reminder of how lousy CS jobs can be.
  15. I have the same feeling they are very rare compared to the books printed in the U.S. But I do not see myself buying any just can't seem to get into them. Dude, pence copies were also printed in the US. On the same machines, at the same time. The only difference is the price on the cover.
  16. If you have no particular aversion to pressing, then go ahead. Much more likely to help the book than to hurt it.
