Cool. Thanks for the info. I will research it a bit more. I need inspiration more towards custom made solutions due to the layout of the room, but no doubt will see if these metal shelves come in a size that would fit. I like the clear mat addition to the metal shelve. Thanks.

I think this topic side tracked a bit too much. The focus was lost regarding the ridiculously increased prices compared to someone sell for some profit. I don't care about 400 bucks. If I missed out on an auction and now it comes up, seller gives it to me for more, that is ok. I would not buy it if the price is now 4 times as much and this is what the original post was about. My 2 cents.

And I always wonder why this piece is inked ! All Bagley cover were pencils only, so to me this was altered and should be worth less. In my opinion.

The Spectacular Spider-Ham title page from issue 4 by Fred Hembeck, who only did this 1 book for the original Peter Porker series. Auction Houses - what's going on ? Hello, we sort of need the auction houses, but me personally I am very frustrated at this point. heritage had this item in an auction, bidding was going on, end date would have been in 4 days or so. Now...now the item is gone. The lot has been withdrawn. I have no dog in this fight, but why is it okay to reopen it ? Didn't all of us have weeks of time to bid on this ? If you have to wait for the last minute, you have no time to react if something like this happens. Also a major storm does not happen unannounced...just saying. this is my take....

Wood has a natural acid as well. i might use the wrong term here, but I heard you have to be careful with storing paper on / in wood. ...but then, paper is made out of wood. Some expert should know, me personally I would be careful.

Hello, yes, I have been doing this for over 20 years now. nothing has stopped me so far, college, wife...kids...house, all may have been a reason to very temporarily slow down a bit, but I never stopped looking, buying or trading.

can I ask the group real quick if anyone has storage ideas for short boxes ? and what I mean is ideas for actually storing the short boxes. i have seen many rooms that have build in cabinets that hold books, and so on, but I need ideas for actually storing the short boxes. Thanks guys.

Oh man i already regret I am responding to this post. me personally I hate all the junk on eBay. You will have to look for original art in between 50 postings of crappy stuff. frustrating. but...here comes the but...apparently there is a market for this stuff. years ago I debated with Bill Cox from CAF why they allow all the crappy and even quite hardcore stuff to be posted. the answer in simple terms, the most used search words on CAF were not superhero names....if you guys know what I mean. just sayin....not agreeing !!
