  1. Cool little touch to use green around the turtles cover! Like it.
  2. I doubt you can legally sell something that you don't own. and we are not talking about commodity items that you can buy anywhere in quantities. here it is a one of a kind item, a piece of artwork, that you can't sell if you don't own it. my two cents
  3. So what is your message ? isnt that what every dealer is doing, selling for profit otherwise they would be out of business.
  4. It was listed as A4 paper, which is about 8.5 by 11.5.
  5. it could have been packed perfectly and still get damaged. Hope your insurance will pay.
  6. Back in the day the overlay was part of the pruning process. Modern covers did not need overlays for them getting printed. So all the overlay does is make it look like the actual cover. Me personally. I like the old original cover with overlays but don't like it on modern pieces.
  7. Hey, Lee Weeks had an epic run in the early 90s, around issue 284 and following. And also did a few issues later, I think I have a few for example from book 380. Then he also did recent Daredevil work, meaning in the last 3 years or so. I am just tying to figure out / help to see which period you are looking for ! All of his work is wonderful, from all time periods. all the best.
  8. I am surprised nobody picked on the tail (re-)placement yet you have to check it out...too funny. Imagine it would have been left the way it was ? look for the white out.... http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1385245
  9. So it does not look to be piles of barely seen artwork. Ok, not really that exciting. I must say though, how amazing would it be if an unknown massive collection of older artwork, that was bought back in th days, comes up like this in an estate sale. Are there any stories of similar events ? Where key pieces came up ? Would love to hear them.
  10. Hey...it is signed by Ditko ! so at least worth 200.
  11. Amazing Fantasy 15 - Cover artwork ? Thoughts ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Steve-Ditko-signed-Spiderman-ink-drawing-sketch-on-paper-original-comic-art-/232293833667?hash=item3615ca9bc3:g:MQkAAOSw~CFY5TOV maybe someone can post this better than I with pics...

  13. I have to agree, it would be more than helpful and informative if all the details would be available in one place instead of hearing different stories depending on who you ask,
