The paper stock is slightly thicker than newsprint paper. Very thin.

I do find myself a fan of the show more so than the book as well Jeff. I just see more and more fans becoming wrapped up in the prices the books bring instead of the book anymore. I just find it sad because as a complete series, the book itself has been one of the best scripted of the last 20 years but is now being overshadowed by money. So that is why I've been a bit vocal about the issue.
