  1. Loved SoA but never watched Hell Boy. I think he would be the perfect choice.
  2. I could see a beefed up Ron Perlman pulling it off.
  3. Looks like there's going to be at some point.
  4. Very smooth transaction with Paul. Hope to deal with him again.
  5. STEVEN LANG FTW!!!!! I believe it has been reported that he has a scheduling conflict with the filming of Avatar. Though, how he's involved with that is a mystery to me, since he's dead in that mythos, right? They're making 4 Avatar movies, so maybe 2 are prequels & the other 2 are sequels.
  6. She tore Amanda Waller a new one in her SS review.
  7. Finally saw rouge one today. Is that the makeup movie where they steal the plans for a new version of blush?
  8. Happy New Year fellow boardies. Leia was not done with CGI. I thought it was pretty obvious that wasn't Carrie Fisher. I just looked it up & the actress that played Leia in RO is Ingvild Deila. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6488665/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t24 They certainly should have used CGI though, cause there was absolutely no resemblance. I stand corrected. I just read the Leia's face was done using CGI but I felt it looked nothing like her.
  9. I felt he was a little 'forced' into the show (but a lot of their characters are), but I like the character and actor a lot. He probably does cost too much for TV. Maybe they could experiment with a 'darker' HBO mini-series, or make a cameo in a MCU movie? Best bet would be an 8 - 13 episode solo season on ABC or Netflix. AoS introduced Inhumans & now they're getting an 8 episode season. I would think that's going to cost much more than GR's CGI did. With everything DC's been doing on TV, it kind of feels like a lame excuse. Now that the show is picking up momentum, they're dropping the character that gave them an edge over budget issues. Again.
  10. Sorry about the spoiler. Tarkin's CGI scenes were talked about in the Rogue One thread, so I didn't realize mentioning that would be a big deal.
  11. I wonder if they will use CGI to complete Leia's scenes like the did with Tarkin in Rogue One.
  12. He shouldn't have done that, but my point is that any response is just feeding the beast.
  13. I really don't want to get involved but it's here every time I check to see if there's any recent updates. You're just giving him the attention that he wants. From what I've read, he's upset a lot of people already. The best thing boardies can do is just ignore him.
  14. Damn, seems way too early to be showing Captain Marvel teasers.
  15. That's from episode 11 "Play Date", but the quote don't appear.
  16. I watched the pilot, and it is 43 minutes. Which this reviewer even calls out as '40 Minutes of Nonstop Super-heroic Action'. Even notes again it is '42 minutes'. Best Shots Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION Pilot '40 Minutes of Nonstop Superheroic Action' So interested there is something else listed on IMDb. Though that site does allow for members to make alterations to the content. I wonder if they broke them up into mini web episodes? There must have been a 10 min segment cut from the one I saw.
  17. No, the episodes are literally 10 - 11 minutes each. Shazam Slam is a 3 part lasting 32:02 & the only exception so far. I've seen 11 (9 if you count the 3 parts as 1) episodes & they're all short. Look on IMDB & you'll see that the run time is 11 mins each: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5419200/?ref_=nv_sr_6
  18. Sounds like JL doesn't want be in another X-Men film.
  19. NO, there were only a couple times that you saw the 3D and it wasn't that great. 3D is purely a way to charge everyone more for a ticket. Honestly, if its a must to pay more, Id rather pay the $3 more and not have to wear those glasses when seeing it in IMAX. +1 I wear glasses myself & hate 3D. I saw Doctor Strange in IMAX & couldn't stand wearing those things, although I did think it was slightly more impressive in 3D than the 2D version I saw previously. For most films I think it actually detracts from the experience, Doctor Strange was the only time I felt it added anything.
  20. It's nice to see another animated JLA but I'm not really crazy about the 10 min episodes.
  21. Very dark ending. I was disappointed that Not sure how I would rate this. I think I'm more excited to see Assassin's Creed next week.
  22. Hugh Jackman Posts Hilarious Video Honoring Deadpool Star Ryan Reynolds Can you add a link to that video or embed it in this thread please?
