  1. Tyler bought an ASM from me. Very quick to pay & smooth transaction all around. Hope to work together on future transactions.
  2. And you call your self Batman. But surely, no self-respecting Batman fan would watch B&R twice!?! It's not about self respect, it's about obligation. I honestly don't even think I saw that movie once, so I'm in no position to judge.
  3. Sadly, the best one isn't on that list. This is HBO. They just love to court controversy... Like the new Avatar Batman. Thanks! I switched computers after changing to a Halloween avatar and haven't gotten round to finding the old one! I think I prefer this one anyways. I should imagine the other one will be back... just like that old, comfortable pair of shoes you just can't throw away ...or your 2-disc Batman & Robin DVD. Nope... that's a pair of shoes worn once and never again You're on a desert island with a TV and DVD and you only have a choice of one out of two movies (Batman & Robin or Superboy: Season 1) to watch in endless loop until you are rescued. Which one would you pick? And you call your self Batman.
  4. I think the only explanation they offered as to how DS caught up so quick and became a sorcerer was: he was born with a photo graphic memory. On a different note, the guy just literally walked into a room and was immediately taken to a trip to the multi-verse. Ant-Man's trip to the micro-verse had a better set up. My take is that as he was reading the spells from the sacred book, he was able to activate the time function (possibly activating a silent eye in the background) -- as was evidenced from the apple aging back and forth, and then reversing time so that he could read the missing pages. From there it was a matter of recalling what he saw. Exactly.

  6. It feels like they purposely separate themselves from those films. Which is crazy, as The Dark Knight would make that list pop. Although I did watch The Dark Knight Returns 1 & 2 the other day. Still one of the best superhero animated movies - ever! Peter Weller's voice is perfect for the role. I think I'll check those 2 out then. They might be staying away from the Nolan trilogy because it would outshine BvS with all the mixed emotions. Hopefully they air the ultimate edition, since people have been saying the movie flows much better with the additional 30 mins. Still haven't watched it myself.

  8. Absolute BS review. If the movie is so bad...stand up & walk out of the theatre. I've done it. For such a horrible review, he gave it a pretty descent score.
  9. It's also brought in 30 million from China's Friday & Saturday screenings. Should be close to 300 WW after tomorrow.
  10. you bet; this movie starts just after civil war ends. Dr. Strange was already mentioned in AoS more than a year ago, so that kind of messes with the time line. That makes more sense. Going back on Tuesday to see it in 3d, maybe even IMAX. I thought it was great & set things up nicely for a sequel. It wasn't perfect by any means but very enjoyable. Treated my parents to it & they had a good time. My dad is more interested in seeing Wonder Woman after watching the new trailer though. The issue I have with most MCU villains is that they tend to be killed off by the end of each film. I say, capture them & have them locked up at SHIELD or something. That way there's room to bring them back at some point. Loki is still my favorite by quite a margin, but I hope Thanos will change that.
  11. That's probably why the Wolverine movies turned out so poorly. I'd have to disagree with you on the hero's journey being nothing without a compelling villain though. The most well known Superheroes (Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man) didn't start off with major villains at all. When it comes to a Superhero's origin, the main adversary lies within themselves & that's what makes them the hero's they've become.

  13. You certainly make some good points.
  14. If word of mouth is good, maybe it goes higher than $600MM WW? It's already got GOTG beat by 20 million opening weekend. Korea brought in 18, so it looks like they can pull in 60+ total. China could bring in around 100 also. I'd say more like 500+ international & 350+ domestic. It can bring in as much as BvS imo. $350MM domestic seems wildly optimistic. "stock" is estimating $225-240MM. pretty busy release schedule in November: Trolls 11/3 - should crack $100MM, Arrival 11/10 - could crack $100MM, Fantastic Beasts 11/17 - should crack $250MM. Moana 11/23 - could crack $300MM. I remember saying Suicide Squad would hit 755 - 765 million when others were saying it would be lucky to get past 600 & it's just under 745. Maybe it will only make around 750 - 800, but I really doubt it will settle around 600.

  16. Just completed a smooth transaction with Jim.
  17. Only a little? Thank GOD that Ms Kringle double popped up. Was starting to wish Fish Mooney was back for a second there.
  18. I prefer to binge watch also. I just went through all 5 Seasons of Homeland. I couldn't stop watching & really didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Poor Quinn. They have him credited for another Season, so I'm anxious to see what happens next. Was disappointed that Season 6 has skipped over to 2017. So...I haven't actually watched Season 5 yet. But - wasn't really a spoiler since we have indeed seen that he returns for Season 6. And, if y'all haven't yet seen it, Homeland Seasons 1-4 are now streaming via Hulu. Sorry, wasn't trying to spoil it for you. It was a great Season. Let me just say
