  1. A character that comes to mind is a member of Squadron Supreme, Shape, from Mark Gruenwald’s great 80s mini-series... Truth as unusual as fiction, in this case.
  2. Everything, including whether the science is BS or not.
  3. EggsAckley, Howard Greber. World expert level knowledge. He taught me so much about that particular field, sold me some fantastic Richard Corben books, someone I had a lot in common with, a boardie pal, and a great loss.
  4. Many topics there. Most likely quite a number here with narrow, very specific and encyclopaedic knowledge about one area in particular. I’ve always been a more general, ‘bit of this-and-that’ reader and collector.
  5. It's ahead of its time. Reminds me of Jughead's cap from the Riverdale series. Clearly an influence.
  6. It's from a classic comic book that isn't given the respect it deserves. Ridiculous to a genius level. An essential addition to any Thanos collection. For me, a nice contrast to Starlin's relentless intensity.
  7. Thanks. A shame it's so low tech and there's no DNA splicing involved.
  8. Simpler style but easier on the eye than Robbins' super-hero artwork.
  9. From the position of her palms, you can't tell if she has suction cups on her hands as well. The combination of spider and octopus characteristics would produce a formidable wall-crawling ability.
  10. She's possibly also got some cephalopod DNA that was mixed in with the radioactive spider venom.
  11. Still disappointed that it didn’t appear in Endgame or Infinity War. It would’ve been the icing on the cake.
  12. Congrats to Adamantium on this great achievement, though I was disappointed that Lancashire Kitchens didn’t snipe it at the last second.
  13. With wings he'd be too similar to Hawkman; anti-gravity disc = Nth metal.
  14. Terrible story idea. Just as bad as when Rick Jones could control the Hulk's movements, in one issue of the short-lived first series.
  15. It’s a very British sense of humour; smut and scatology. Alternatively, there’s dry and cynical, like I am.
  16. Let’s just make the task as difficult as possible without assistance from a planet’s many superpowered do-gooders. Makes perfect sense.
  17. Yup. Even if they tried it on with the entire Justice League it’d be total nonsense to claim super-heroes are a hindrance.
  18. If Kav had continued to be as impressively prolific as he was in his early days on the boards, this milestone would’ve been passed a long time ago.
