  1. Great choice. I was thinking about that one; consistently good stories, lots of nice artwork.
  2. With all of those there’s still for me a degree of inconsistency within the timeframes. There’s passable, bad, and admittedly brilliant: peaks and troughs, interspersed greatness, but hardly continuous.
  3. I’d take out both the 100 + issues and decade criteria. Very limiting, and really, do many series have that degree of continuous, highest-level consistency? Seems a bit rose-tinted to me.
  4. Yup. A permissible production defect. Mentioned many times on here that it can be allowed through in the CGC grading process.
  5. Never really bought many slabs off there, but one of the first dealers I bought from stated that CGC’s grading is subjective and to be aware of the possibility of confusions like this occurring, especially when distance buying with limited visual information. There’s a basic level of consensus about presentation and permissible defects, but it isn’t cut razor-sharp on either side of the transactional argument. If you can’t handle this level of confusion with the facilities available on a certain platform, then looking for an alternative stratagem elsewhere is simple common sense. It’s a learning experience for the buyer, in this case.
  6. Only familiar with the original series. Clearly been developed a lot more since then.
  7. Fan favourite? Is she really that popular now?
  8. For me, Adams’ career-best comic artwork.
  9. For me, not a lot. It lacks the underlying technique that makes Pollock's work so fascinating. Structure and aesthetic beneath the superficial randomness.
  10. Thankfully, it was just a crash. White screen on my phone. I was more concerned that I'd been blocked and given a short holiday for prompting another boardie to post this classic cover version, over in the Water Cooler...
  11. Actually, you’re right. I’m doing well in this thread.
  12. Yup. It’s out of our control, and no point going around in circles all the time about it.
  13. Maybe what I was thinking of is when an actor becomes a star an earlier minor bit part when they’re a newcomer or unknown can then be referred to as a cameo appearance. Retroactive, like that. Applies to Wolvie.
  14. Good point. A classic example of 'don't post at 2 in the morning' from me here.
  15. Prefer cameo. Like on TV, in movies. Another visual, dramatic medium.
  16. They make some interesting choices. There’s an Iron Maiden set as well.
  17. Not many Golden Age Timelys fitting the bill. The characters were clearly too busy Nazi smashing. An understandable distraction.
  18. I believe it’s far more limited now in online versions as Rockstar remove songs for which their licensing has elapsed. I agree totally though, the original PS2 / X-Box song selection was great driving music, something for all tastes.
