Marvel Spotlight 2 seems ready for a fall. 

Has anyone heard any news about the upcoming tv show? On Netflix, I think? 

Huh, I didn't know CGC started slabbing progs. When did that happen?

I can't read the label -- does it note if the free stickers are present or missing? Raw copies with stickers go for more, which is obvious, I guess.

I had the impression for a long time that British collectors of British comics weren't as invested in the whole "first appearance" mentality that's become so popular in the past 30 years or so in America.  I could be wrong, though.

2000 AD has so many great characters, it would probably give Spider-Man, Batman and the Fantastic Four a run for their money on key books.

I first discovered his work on in the Eagle Judge Dredd reprints, been a fan ever since. His impact on comics, both British and American, was monumental.

Now that the Marvel Netflix shows are available on Disney+, and word is Daredevil is going to appear on the upcoming Echo TV show, do we think, just maybe, we could see prices rise again on Hero for Hire 1 and Marvel Premiere 15 due to fan anticipation/speculation? How about Daredevil 131 or 168?

They've announced the first 8 volumes, which are in the same order as the original 8 volumes. These will be new remasters, so it should be the best presentation of the material to date. 

What's VERY interesting to me is that they are apparently going to issue each book in both the now standard black/silver dress, as well as re-issue the "variant" covers (which originally were the only covers, before the line was rebooted, but I digress.)

Anyway, this will presumably affect values on original printings. Now, to be fair, the first 27 volumes are very common and not expensive, so even if they're releasing a volume each month (which looks to be the case) it's still going to be at least a couple of years before they start getting into the volumes which currently enjoy a high resale value. 

It's also not clear just how far they're going to continue the line, though common sense would dictate that they'll keep releasing new ones as long as they're selling well.

SO...yeah. Great news if you ever wanted to get in on the ground floor of this 30+ year reprint exercise, but if you're someone who is holding onto those harder to find volumes due to their value, you've got some food for thought. Personally, I'm looking forward to plugging in some big gaps in my collection, and am giving some thought to selling off some omnis in favor of the Masterworks, which are nicer books, and much easier to read.

That's interesting news. I know I gave up on finding affordable copies of the first few Marvel Team-Up Masterworks. However, at this point what I'm really waiting for is a Marvel Team-Up Epic Collection. Heck, Marvel published an epic collection of Two-in-One before Team-up!

I know I should probably just buy the magazine where they're interviewed, but do the Pinis talk about gettng Elfquest adapted to the movies or T.V.? 

A property that's been around this long probably has had its share of development hell, no?

Printing up 10,000 copies of an unknown B&W indie seems either bold or reckless. I wonder how many survived, either in collections, dealer's inventory, or boxed up in some warehouse. 

That's interesting. I wonder why the hobby doesn't have a definite number after all these years.
