not only does it make it look better
So the book is different from it's original state?

Congrats on your first batch of CGC books, Boozad (thumbs u
In regards to the Batman's you want to sell, you might try listing them here first - moderns in less than 9.8 are a bit of a hard sell in general, and with the ebay fees on top, you might not even be able to make back the cost of slabbing the book (for instance, last sale on the Batman #676 variant in CGC 9.6 was a measly $19).
Thanks for the advice mate. I have 3 of the variants raw on Ebay at the moment with a bid of £35 (around $54 I think) and 5 watchers. Interest in the RIP stuff has boomed in the UK at the moment, and my slabs are the only ones on Ebay UK.
I've put a huge price on them as I'm not too bothered whether they sell or not. People in the UK would rather buy at overinflated prices from other UK users for some reason. They must think the shipping would kill them or something. I prefer to buy from the States - much better quality stuff most of the time. There are some top sellers in the UK of course though!
Somebody actually bought a ASB&R #1 RRP CGC 9.6 for £195 on Ebay UK, that's around $300 I think! I bought the same book, same grade but SS on here for $75. That's how the unlearned Brits see the market I suppose. Things do seem to go for higher prices.
I'll keep you updated on how they go (thumbs u

Thicker Than Blood #1 San Diego Comic Con Knew it would be a Qualified and don't care as it's a gorgeous book!
Batman #492 Platinum Edition A great result at a 9.4 as I was expecting a Qualified due to a tear on the first page. Obviously a printing defect.
Batman #515 Embossed Special Edition Loved the embossed editions when Bruce Wayne came back.
Batman #608 2nd Print A nice copy to sit alongside my RRP Edition.
Batman #619 Heroes Gatefold Edition The one big stinker out of my first submission.
Batman #655 1:10 Variant Gotta get the variants done!
Batman #670 1:25 Sketch Variant Lovely Tony Daniel artwork. 1 of 50 at the top of the census.
Batman #676 1:25 Variant Straight on Ebay as I've got it SS
Batman #677 1:25 Variant Straight on Ebay as I've got it SS
Batman #678 1:25 Variant Yet more Bats....
Batman #679 1:25 Variant Yet more Bats...
Batman #680 1:25 Variant 1of 6 at the top of the census. So far....
Not a bad first outing. I'm happy anyway!

No, they're consultants. What hope have they got of grading comic books??
Oooops sorry, they're really dogs! No wonder your Watchmen grades were a bit woof.

All of my prestige DC books have that line. More noticable in the Bat/Punisher book.
