Kudos to dekeuk for a great Batman #240 9.4.

Well the seller has offered a full refund with the view to me paying it back if the book ever does turn up. I hope it does as he's been stiffed a book now.
-
He's been in touch and will look for the shipping info although it wasn't insured. He's offered a refund too which I'm loathe to take if the book was shipped and it's been lost through no fault of his own.
Man I hate situations like this.

Whether the seller actually used Priority or not I don't know, but I think $20 is enough to cover one slab shipped to the UK.
There's no tracking info?
I've mailed and asked for it. Hopefully there is
Is this the 'mail' that you sent to him six days ago, Gav?
If so, any idea why it's taken him so long to respond with such a straight-forward piece of information?
The mail last week was just letting him know I still hadn't received the book. He replied and said he'd see what he could find out. I've still heard nothing so PMd (no apostrophe) him back this morning asking for shipping confirmation.

So I've finally got round to starting on these. Read #1 and #2 of the first run late last night and I loved it. Great idea and the artwork is really nice, just feels fresh compared to what I've been reading lately.
Thankfully I've got all the issues through to Head Games #3 so I'll sit down with those for an hour this afternoon and get through them. If the kids will leave me alone long enough that is

WHAT?? I thought Priority International took seven days?
And there in lies the problem (thumbs u

I sent one to Garry/gaz973 in January. A month later, he still hadn't gotten. One day, he walks into his shed and finds the postman had delivered it a couple of weeks early but just left it in the shed when Garry wasn't there. No note, nothing.
Maybe you should check your shed.
If I had one I would. I live in an apartment so I don't have a shed
I once shipped a book to a boardie in Australia by surface mail. It was over two months before it arrived. I think I was in more of a panic about it than he was, though... It can certainly take a LONG time for overseas surface mail packages.I paid enough for the book to be shipped Priority International, in fact it was me who quoted the shipping cost. I've had one package delivered surface mail which was form Canada, and that took around 6/7 weeks. Nowhere near three months though.

Well it definitely qualifies as a no-show. I think it's way too late to file a Paypal dispute now and I would rather have sorted it out with the seller to be honest. Looks like I'll just end up $60 down this time.

You're right Brian your boxes get here in around a week. It never takes more than two normally, even from sellers on eBay.
I did buy once before from this user and the books did take a while to come through, maybe 3/4 weeks or so, but this one just doesn't look like it's going to turn up. I don't particularly want to out a seller over something that may not be their fault - I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But the payment was made on 12th January and last contact was 6 days ago when the seller said he'd try to find out what he could.

I bought and paid for a book in January which still hasn't arrived yet. I've mailed the seller and he says to wait it out - it will turn up. I've bought from him once before and I can't see him screwing me.
But 3 months delivery time? I've written it off to lost in the post, any advice people?

I was actually looking to upload a song from my old band but can't even find the mp3s. I'll have to try and dig the CD out again...

The biggest kudos yet to bghkoyama for two awesome freebies after a transaction unfortunately fell through. The people on these boards never fail to amaze me. (worship)
You'll be getting a payment through for those books mate, fantastic stuff (thumbs u
