It is, indeed - the rules are pretty clear on this; the books have to be exclusively listed on these boards.
Yeah, that's how I've understood things. Bit of a pisser that.
Run an official Comicana news thread in here and announce the new prices with links to the books. You can also state your stance on disclosure wherever you're selling books!

So much for "Mr Squeaky Clean".
As a married man myself I can't condone his behaviour but fair play she's a fine looking lady and a cut above anyone Rooney has done the mamba with!
He shoots, he scores...
Looks are no good if you don't know how the mechanics work.
Underneath cars.

Is there a reason that GPA doesn't keep track of c-link sales ?
CLink will only submit selective data to GPA, in other words they will only report high sales prices realised. They won't submit low prices realised as it's 'hurting the market' and they don't want to run the risk of promoting lower prices for their books.
George won't accept this, it's either all or nothing. Fair play to him.
I offered to submit all C-Link auction results to George for free after every auction if that is what it would take to get them included in GPA results. They are public domain prices realized after all. Anyone with an account can view them. George at GPA has intimated that Josh at Comiclink would not be happy about this, so he refused my offer.
I'm not sure how George collects his data from different sites, but I'm pretty sure he's not going to include information from a site that aren't 100% consenting. If CLink don't want to report all sales, George isn't going to take that information from a third party. Plus (and this is no personal slur on you), it would be possible for a third party to manipulate those figures before submitting, that's why George will never take information from boardies who've bought and sold on the boards.

How can you have three equal quadrants?

I wondered where that had gone.

It may have a value that exceeds a complete vase of a different era, but a vase is a vase.
That's like saying a 7.5 is a 7.5 and can never be a 9.4.
Which is wrong.
Are you getting philosophical on me? That's like saying something can be everything and nothing.
No, it's a random pebble throwing from the sidelines by a rabble-rouser. Gav is referencing a book I put up for sale on the forums that was pressed from a 7.5 to a 9.4 and showing his disdain for my doing so and not revealing the previous grade of the book when it was put up for sale. It doesn't matter that the book was not actually mine and was not pressed by me. All that matters is that it bothers him and his perception of the situation is enough for him to open that can of worms again. Facts are not important.
His comment actually has nothing to do with this conversation except that I am in the conversation and he is in the conversation.
Oh, it also shows that a 7.5 book can and does have high grade qualities, hence I believe VF range is the start of high grade.
Carry on.
My post was to prove that while a vase without a handle will always be a vase without a handle, a 7.5 may not always be a 7.5. The book you had was the case in point.
What the post was not about was you. Did I mention anything about you not disclosing? No, you did. Did I mention I didn't like the way you tried to sell the book? No, you did. Did I mention you at all? No.
My point was that the vase comment was a bad analogy, stop trying to twist my words. I made my feelings clear in the thread that was pulled and I haven't acknowledged you since, so stop accusing me of rabble-rousing Roy when my comment was directly related to this thread and the post I quoted. Specifically, how grades can change.
Not everything is about you, especially my posts.

Soon as I upgrade my #222 I have a lovely 9.2 to pass on
If that's the case I may have to pass my 9.0 on.
-
I'd be very pleased with an 8.0. May have to settle for a cheap 7.0.A 9.0 would hit the spot for me on a #227, sitting in a Mylites2 it would look just the business. My 8.0 will do as a placeholder for now.I'll put your name on the backing board if you want Dave for when I upgrade.
Nice new avatar by the way. (thumbs u
Thanks. We'll see if I have any money when you upgrade.
Put away $1 a week, by the time I have the money for a 9.0 you'll be laughing.

Yup Batman 222 is very hard to find in decent grade at the moment
Grabbed this copy a couple of months ago.
So nice! This has always been one of my favorite bronze Bats. Wish I'd picked up a HG copy a long time ago...ah well.
It was definitely a welcome addition to the collection Jon, thankfully it's HG enough for me to be a keeper.
