  1. So here's a thought that came to me the other day...

After watching The Avengers and then remembering Hulk, Incredible Hulk... I really think that Ang Lee's Hulk would punch the out of the Avengers Hulk.

Ok, Hulk wasn't a "great" movie but I'm sure the Hulk was twice the size of the others.

Avengers Hulk just wasn't "big" enough.

And what about the Ed Norton Hulk??? :sumo:

    That was the best one.

  2. There's been several new people that start selling as soon as they get here. Many don't even take the time to read the selling rules. I think there should be a waiting period before noobs can start selling here.

I was always opposed to this idea Mike, but more and more it makes sense to me. Will it stop someone who's willing to make a bunch of posts or wait the required time? Perhaps not ,but it would allow us to get a cut of their jib and it would give them an opportunity to learn about this place and perhaps learn the rules and culture.

    Spot on.

  3. The most recent airing hasn't aired everywhere though has it? British boardies may want to check in and talk about the first episode, should they have to tiptoe through posts to make sure they don't read something they haven't seen just because you don't like spoiler tags?

No Gav, it's YOUR fault for not living in the states and seeing the episode 2 days ago.

On the other hand...since not all boardies live in the us, and some of us don't want to be total by not using the tags for those that have not seen/read the topic, we use spoilers put of courtesy.

How about I post some scripts of unaired episodes and not use spoilers? And give no warning? Would that be better?

It's always my fault Jay. (thumbs u

  4. the machete was worth the entire episode. With Rick and his actions that ate out of the norm, everyone needs to remember that up to 6 months passed from last season to this season, who knows what the group had to do to survive the winter. And it is possible that the writers are building Rick up to be this badass to counter the inevitable governor showdown. I do like how the show's writers are changing things up from the book. A few things I don't see making the translation is Rick losing his hand (replaced with merle's), Hershel's leg instead of dale, t-dog in place of tyreese, and as much as it would please me, I really don't see them killing off Lori.

Yep, personally I like how the show is throwing plenty of different things in there while staying true to the core of the storyline in the books. I prefer this Rick, I mean if you look at the situation they're in and what they've endured it isn't really hard to understand why he'd be this way, especially after the con whose head he put the machete in had tried to kill him twice.

As for the guy he locked outside, he was just protecting his own interests, and you could tell by the look on his face when he shut the inner door that, even though he knew he'd done what he had to do (as Lori had already said he must do), it didn't sit well with him at all.

  5. While sellers asking for 3% to cover Paypal fees is a no-no for me when it comes to buying, it's always better than posting the little guy then getting hit up with the 3% during the PM exchanges after the fact.

lol I've never had anyone try that on me.

It's been a while back but I have had it happen a couple of times.

I'm looking forward to a seller nominating me to the probation list for backing out of a sale after trying that on me

In hindsight I should have done when it happened to me, but at the time I felt a weird sense of obligation to see the deal through and take the hit. Never again.
