  1. He'll never be forgotten for this...
  2. I never buy digital content for this specific reason. I'll rent off Amazon or whatever if I want to watch something bad enough but I'll never buy it, all I'd be doing is paying more to access something multiple times through that provider and if they choose to pull it that access is gone. If I want something bad enough to keep I'll buy a physical copy, they're few and far between these days though.
  3. Eddie Munson. Apocalyptic caravan. Master of Puppets. That scene is never getting beaten. The Duffer Brothers won TV.
  4. It's easy done. Even us English do that on a daily basis.
  5. There are some great performances in Everything Everywhere All At Once but man it's a messed up movie!
  6. I thought it did but couldn't remember for certain, old man's memory and all that. Could definitely be onto something there, he hasn't got complete control over it.
  7. Obviously spent a fortune on skin care as well.
  8. Yeah I thought Hughie was toast but obviously not. I could only take that as his power needs charging (it's never been instantaneous even in the blackouts) and as it was interrupted it just petered out as it hadn't reached charge. Pretty much like the time I was preparing an almighty fart and my daughter punched me in the gut and I just sucked it back in. Could be wrong though, I haven't really got to grasp with how his power works, just trying to throw some ideas around. But Hughie really shouldn't have been around still unless the temporary V saved him.
  9. There's got to be a season 4, I know Netflix will Netflix but it's perfectly lined up.
  10. I wasn't overly impressed with it, maybe it didn't help watching it after a belly full of beer early afternoon but beyond it being a vehicle to open up the multiverse in the MCU it failed to deliver. Always good to see Hayley Atwell make an appearance but I was expecting more really.
  11. And me! Caught up on the second and third episodes yesterday and it's streets ahead of Moon Knight in my book.
  12. The two blackouts were down to flashbacks to when he was being held by the Russians weren't they? The Herogasm one against T and T definitely was as that song set him off. When he was trying to use it against Homelander it was like he was struggling to bring it out as if he hasn't got much control over it.
  13. Everything Everywhere All At Once. It really has to be seen to be believed, I'm struggling for any words to describe it. Just don't watch it with the kids.
  14. Watched again a few weeks ago and it is indeed an absolutely brilliant movie. I could easily watch it again today.
  15. I presumed this Lady Gaga musical thing was a stage show separate from the movie / sequel (I tend to skim read at 4:30 in the morning). Can't say I'll be in a rush to watch that, musicals really ain't my thing.
  16. Enjoyed it way more than Moon Knight, I'll definitely keep watching.
  17. Antony Starr just makes this show for me (he's not alone don't get me wrong), I absolutely loved him in Banshee but I cannot stand him in The Boys. It's made me appreciate just how damn fine an actor he is.
  18. I dunno, maybe I was tainted by his SS Joker but I just can't stand to see him in that role, even in JL he made my blood boil. I'll never watch another movie with him as The Joker, worst casting, character representation and acting of any comic book character for me. Probably doesn't help Joker is my favourite character
  19. Binged the first three on Friday and loved it as usual, such a great series. Wish I'd have read the comics now, may have to pick them up at some point.
  20. That blackout to skip what would have been the best scene in the whole series was ridiculous and completely killed a series I wasn't really enjoying anyway. I get what it was trying to achieve but man what a massive letdown and kop out. I haven't seen F&WS but if it's as bad as Moon Knight I won't bother. I even enjoyed Hawkeye more and that was pretty plop.

    Gotham

I'm going to finish Taxi Driver off then start it again I think. I've pretty much run Netflix dry bar Gotham given my new found freedom as a pretty broke single parent so it's got to be time. It'll keep me out of trouble for a couple of weeks anyway.
  22. Banshee is up there as one of my favourite TV shows ever, it pulled no punches and was just gripping from start to finish. I hated Anthony Starr in The Boys and loved him in Banshee, just shows what a great actor he is. But yeah Hoon Lee stole Banshee, absolutely first class.
