  1. I've been drinking again, it's Friday after all. This may end up as one of my most watched episodes of all time...
  2. Watched it after taking my daughter out to celebrate her school grades, can't really remember much about it. Perhaps watching after a few beers is the best way to watch it? I'll watch it again tonight.
  3. Kenny, sorry this has absolutely nothing to do with what you've asked for but your post just reminded me of one of my favourite letters.
  4. Oh I'm pretty sure I had my fair share
  5. I've never been into LOTR (did read The Hobbit as a kid and enjoyed it) but even if I had I would not be getting up at 2am on a Friday morning to watch this. I wouldn't get up at 2am to watch anything.
  6. I may well have been a multiple flamer. And a multiple flamee.
  7. Pffft, back in the day asking for custom titles got you banned, not a custom title.
  8. Removing the just joined dates is great, it will mask the fact I average around one post per year.
  9. On the contrary, The Batman could have been two hours longer and I still wouldn't have budged. All personal opinion really I suppose but if a story is well told (The Batman was in my eyes) it doesn't matter how long it is. Yes pacing needs to be different in a series, the MCU seem to get that backwards all the time, but providing the story and production are good enough I personally don't think it matters. Just finished Keep Breathing which was as slow as continental drift but was still a very good watch.
  10. I was always going to wait for this to come to D+, no way was I taking out a small mortgage to watch it at the cinema. But now having re-watched every MCU movie and series recently I can't wait for this to land just for something new. I don't care if any of you think less of me for that, even though in most instances it would put me in minus figures!
  11. Loved it, really good first episode. I even managed to look past Matt Smith being in it.
  12. I'll watch it all but thought it was far from good, too many things bothered me to think it good. How quickly she transforms, Hulk never did it that quick. The hair as has been mentioned, how does it grow and shrink?! Hulk, who can stop tanks dead in their path and throw them away like a football, gets mowed down by a Jeep from a standing start. Smart Hulk really, really annoys me. The final scene was new levels of cringeworthy. The pacing was off and the episode seemed really short. Maybe minor gripes but they were enough for me to not enjoy it particularly. Like I say I'll stick with it but I'm not expecting much from it. The CGI wasn't as bad as I expected so there is a plus point.
  13. Good Morning, Veronica. Enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.
  14. Skipped the binging last night and watched Carter on Netflix, what a movie. If you're into action and stunt scenes this will be right up your street. It's just relentless.
  15. Now that was top entertainment. Such good TV.
  16. It's London, it would be postcode And there'd have bee more than one
  17. I really enjoyed this, I watched the subtitled version though, I can't do dubbed at all.
  18. Brand New Cherry Flavour on Netflix was a bit of a blast if you haven't seen it. Taxi Driver is decent as well.
  19. It sounds like a right ride to be honest, I thought episode 5 was brilliant so if it tops that I'm in for a treat!
  20. Finished episode 5 myself last night and I'm loving it, I can't even remember the books it's been that long ago since I read them so it's good going into this with no expectations. I'll watch a few more tonight.
  21. Was tonight's watching until I got smashed (nothing new there). Got the house to myself next week though while I'm afternoons so this will be perfect.
