  1. EERIE 6, Avon. Sorry about the big stain. It's still REALLY cool.
  2. It's a Duck's Life 5, Canadian. I believe it falls into the year range requested.
  3. Just sold this book. One of my favorite covers - sad to see it go.
  4. I'll go out with a sizzle....Do they get this guy out of the chair?
  5. Must be a rarely seen book. First issue in the series. Stories have a horror feel. That sort of edge between crime and horror.
  6. Wow, even more DeCarlo magic. LOVE LOVE ...... yeah, I bet.
  7. Anyone know about the people depicted in the cover being likenesses of Marvel employees? The cover is Everett, correct?
  8. Excuse me, Mr. newstand owner....could you have put the arrival date somewhere else??? Ah, I see you have a blue pencil and the background of the cover is blue. How about you get a BLACK pencil? Mr. Hartley really worked hard on that cover...
  9. Moral of this story: If someone is trying to stab you, don't shoot at the knife...
  10. Here's a few that stand out... Can anyone find the piece of the cover that's missing? I need it...
  11. There's a cover gallery of sorts you can get to here: http://webpages.charter.net/ckb/ All Timely/Atlas. I only have 20MB of space there, and it's almost filled, so I'll have more scans up elsewhere. Yes, if you see something you like, check my ebay store, and make me an offer.
  12. This defect is very common on Harbinger 1 and other Valiants from 1992ish. Many times, it runs the length of the entire spine. Unfortuately, books with this defect seem to be prone to really split at the top and bottom of the spine, even if they have not been opened. My experience with getting these (full length spine cracking) graded says that for modern books, you are looking at 9.4 at best - with no split at top or bottom.
  13. I use Image books, about 10-20 to a bag. If they are going to take up space, they may as well be useful while they do it.
