  1. I wonder if the professor was into comics at 20 yrs old. It's possible this could be a "Gilligan's Island" Pedigree!
  2. Just picked this up today from Fat Moose Comics in Parsippany, NJ. It was an anniversary event and they had a few artists. Tom Raney Darth Vader;
  3. @Dbuzz83 I was 9 when it came out. Same story; saw it once and I was hooked. My paper route money went directly towards the Mile High Comics catalog of every SW comic they had. Loved collecting the cards too. Joined the military and my younger brother found my collection. All my unused original cards and stickers; gone. All my original figures; gone. Somehow, my original series of comics survived his grubby little fingers!
  4. Don, Welcome from your neighbor in NJ. This is a great community. You'll find almost anything you're looking for here. I'm a big SW fan as well. I own the complete original run about 10X over. Also starting to collect the recent stuff. Enjoy!
  5. I got these books years ago, and they sat in a box until I discovered them recently trying to sort through my collection. Since these are low grade copies, I'm just going to show basic scans and say that the majority of them are 1.5/2.5 at best. A few have tape on the spine. One or two are nicer than the rest but in general, low grade. Page quality is tan/ow. Still, they are readable and look cool in a mylar. 8 are Boy Illustories and 1 is a Daredevil. How's $66 shipped in the US? PayPal G&S or money orders are fine.
  6. Is that a pencil line, tear or a crease under ICA in America?
  7. I could say the same of a coin. Melted down, what is its material value, whether it be silver or gold? Paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for $100 worth of gold seems insane to me. But, much like comics, why are they collected? The beauty, the history, the art.
  8. I was lucky enough to get Scott Hana to ink my first and now second piece of Al Rio O/A. Very pleased with the results. I'm sure Al would be proud to see how it turned out.
  9. This Saturday and Sunday at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Who’s going?
