The rumor re: a new Venom being introduced in 35 has been out there for a bit. My file LCS owner and another LCS owner friend tipped me off a couple or so weeks before FOC that they heard rumors from their industry contacts was a new Venom in #35. I did not order as big as I normally would have due to the cover price and it not having been confirmed by FOC. I should have listened to them.

Stores here are not seeing a slow down yet. Things are still moving up across the board. The two stores that everyone had pegged as likely closing this year are rebounding now, and another former store owner/manager that sold out a few years back is opening up a new store now. The only question now is how much further prices have to run. Every 5-7 years since 1997 or so we have gone through a price spike across the board, then plateau for a few years. We may be starting to see the plateau in older books starting now, and it will hit Copper and Modern soon enough. It will be interesting to see how many of this type of seller you talked to stick around.

So Venom 7 and 9, and all the reprints, should be popping now. Nice. I was worried I may need to sit on the last few copies of each for a while.

Buy it now so you don't regret it later. I will even buy you a beer when you pick it up
