  1. Very cool to develop a -script with them! Was it ever produced?
  2. As long as the Goblin is in the background and he has a nice Black Cat/MJ/Gwen in the middle of the cover it will do well.
  3. This 1:100 looks like he just mailed it in. I was expecting it to be better than that.
  4. Yup. The general rule I see at shows is MJ, Gwen and Black Cat will always sell, other female characters are a crapshoot. Also, with one or two notable exceptions (Lizard, Deadpool), if a JSC cover features a dude only, it is a dud.
  5. My concern with all studios moving towards comedy themed super-hero flicks is that they will kill the medium. It almost seems like there is a race to the bottom now re: how much humor can we force into a film?
  6. Agreed, but that is a bit of an understatement as well. It is a much weaker tandem. I love reading Johns' comics, and thought his GL run was fantastic as a GL fan, but it is still unclear whether he has the same ability as a studio head. Berg may also be a better guy with numbers and connections in the industry from the production-side. That is something Johns will need time and experience to learn.
  7. I don't think there will be any issues going forward. Both Marvel/Disney and Fox will be united by the most powerful force in entertainment......................chasing the almighty dollar.
  8. Agreed re: needing an equivalent to Feige, but I see three main differences: 1) Disney bought Marvel with Feige already well established as the head of Marvel Studios and the success of Iron Man under his belt. 2) WB is a smaller studio in the grand scheme of things with what appears to be more of a cautious and/or controlling approach on its projects. 3) Snyder's early lack of success coupled with Johns' lack of experience would make a corporate culture like WB nervous.
  9. I would not be surprised. Based on how they appear to run things, I doubt WB would give a comic writer full control. They seem to be a company that likes to keep a tight reign on things, for better and for worse.
  10. Have no fear, paperheart will find the dark cloud for any WB/DC pre-release.
  11. Sorry for the break. I had to head out of town unexpectedly for a few days with work. Here are some additional books: Amazing Spider-Man #50 CGC 6.0 $380
  12. Which Lantern are they going with - Hal, Guy, John or Kyle?
  13. Very nice! I hope they do this somewhere in Canada as well.
  14. Maybe Thor Ragnarok then. Depends on where they are at with CGI at that point.
